Anoush Norouzi is a supporting character in Cobra Kai. He is portrayed by Dan Ahdoot.
He is a friend of Daniel LaRusso and is an employee at LaRusso Auto Group. He had quit working at the dealership in Season 2 to work for Tom Cole and was later rehired in Season 3. He continues to work for Daniel in Season 4, Season 5, and Season 6.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
Anoush has a minor role. He is first seen at LaRusso Auto being introduced to Johnny Lawrence by his boss, Daniel LaRusso. When Daniel is later worried about his daughter Samantha LaRusso's boyfriend Kyler, he talks to Anoush and Daniel's cousin, Louie LaRusso, Jr, a colleague of Anoush.
After Daniel's picture on a billboard for LaRusso auto was defaced due to someone drawing a penis on his face, Anoush and Louie try to paint over it, which they do. When Daniel shows up at the dealership the following morning, Anoush gives him a brochure of Johnny promoting the newly opened Cobra Kai Dojo, and says they were on the billboard, making Daniel realize Johnny was the one who had defaced it.
On Robby Keene's first day at the dealership, Daniel asks Anoush if he wants to do karate with him, but Anoush refuses due to him being busy with his dating app, and both he and Louie give Robby a hard time.
Later, when Johnny wants to test drive a new car, Daniel asks one of his employees if Anoush could do it, but she said that Anoush was with a customer.
Season 2[]
Anoush has an even smaller role. Anoush is first seen praising Daniel for his commercial promoting Miyagi-Do Karate, and says he doesn't think Daniel is guilty of cultural appropriation. Daniel watches the video on Anoush's phone and is upset that some people are calling him racist, but Anoush comforts him and says despite the comments, he'll still get a bunch of students.
When Johnny shows up at the dealership to find out where his son Robby is, Anoush is upset to see him because of the billboard incident, criticizing him. An irritated Johnny asks him where Robby is, but Anoush doesn't tell him and asks him to leave. However, an enraged Johnny shoves him against a car. Anoush tells him to get his hands off him, but Johnny then hits him and asks where Robby is once again, to which Anoush says that he is staying at Daniel's house. Anoush likely told Daniel about what Johnny had done to him as Daniel later shows up at Johnny's dojo and reprimands him for beating up Anoush.
One day when Daniel is training his students instead of being in the dealership, he gets a call from Anoush, but Daniel declines it and texts him saying he isn't coming. An upset Anoush tells Daniel's wife, Amanda LaRusso, that Daniel isn't coming, and walks out of the room. When Daniel returns to the dealership later that day, Amanda tells him that he quit due to Tom Cole, the owner of a rival dealership, offering him a higher title with better money. She then tells him that Anoush was going to give herself and Daniel a chance to match it, but Daniel didn't show up.
Season 3[]
Anoush returns just as Tom Cole tries to buy LaRusso Auto Group from Daniel and Amanda. Anoush tells Louie that Tom wants to buy LaRusso Auto and has convinced Doyona International to pull their contract with Daniel's dealership without the consent of Daniel and Amanda, giving them a heads-up. However, he soon betrays Tom, by saying Daniel re-hired him after Daniel and Amanda reject Cole's offer. He calls Cole a clown for calling him 'Faroush', and says he is working for Daniel again because he knows his real name and doesn't mistreat people. After LaRusso Auto Group is saved with the help of Kumiko and Yuna, Anoush later jumps into Louie's arm after a snake is found in LaRusso Auto, having been planted there by John Kreese, and he says that he hates Snakes. Initially, Louie shows him no sympathy, but then runs out of fear with Anoush in his arms.
Season 4[]
In First Learn Stand, Amanda tells Anoush to make sure that Louie doesn't go anywhere near the Doyona representatives. Anoush commented by saying that he'll just put a cannoli in a giant net, with Amanda saying that she's being serious. Anoush said that he was also being serious. Then, Tory came into the dealership with a bag of groceries that Amanda had given her. This prompted Amanda to say "shit," leaving Anoush confused, and when Tory dropped the food on the floor, Anoush also said "shit." He witnesses the conversation between Tory and Amanda. Amanda told her that they should go talk in her office, but Tory loudly refused. Anoush told Tory to lower her volume, and quoted Gandhi by saying, "Nobody can hurt me without my permission." After that statement, Tory threatened to snap Anoush in half like a pencil. Anoush left the room, not wanting to step into a karate situation once again. When Tory left, Anoush asked Amanda if he should start wearing protective gear to work and to notify the police. Amanda told him no, and not to tell Daniel about this.
In Match Point, he learned that Daniel would be fighting Johnny. When Anoush asked Daniel if he's really going to fight Johnny, because he recounted the time Johnny once had him in an arm-bar like he was Royce Gracie and Anoush was just himself, with Louie agreeing with him.
Season 5[]
In Survivors, Louie invites Anoush along on his, Johnny, Chozen, Amanda and Carmen's night out, but he refuses, claiming to have a date. At the nightclub, Louie spots Anoush with his date and is happy for him until Louie learns that she is Vanessa, his sister, leading to a brawl between Louie and Anoush. Later, the two men walk out of the club together and Louie tells Anoush that he's happy for him as long as Anoush treats Vanessa right, which he promises to do as they make-up with one another. Their discussion is then interrupted by a frantic Reggie who is looking for the party limo. Anoush realizes that something is wrong since Daniel, Johnny and Chozen had taken off together in the limo and Reggie wasn't the driver, putting together that it had been stolen.
Season 6[]
Personality[]
Anoush is a good salesman and a good friend to Daniel and Amanda. However, he can be lazy and unprofessional, as he hazed Robby when he first got hired, and did not want to help Daniel out by doing karate with him. Anoush is also fairly perverted. In season 2, did not want to leave LaRusso Auto but he could not turn down Cole's offer. He even gave Daniel and Amanda a chance to match it before he quit. Despite working for Tom in the beginning of season 3, he does not like the way he treats Daniel and Amanda, and he even tells Louie about Tom convincing Doyona International to pull their contract with LaRusso Auto. He soon quits and is rehired by Daniel. When he quits, he tells Tom that he is quitting and working for Daniel because Daniel doesn't mistreat people.

- Anoush appears to be of Iranian descent.
- Anoush has a preference for South Asian women.
- Anoush has ophidiophobia (fear of snakes). Ironically, Ophidiophobia is actually a soundtrack name in the Season 1 score.
- Anoush's surname was rumored to be "Norouzi," but his surname had appeared on his office saying "Anoush Norouzi," confirming such. Also, the writers of Cobra Kai have officially confirmed that Anoush's last name is indeed Norouzi.
- He started working for the LaRusso Auto Company, then switch to Tom Cole's Company until he realized the latter pokes fun at the former, therefore switching back to LaRusso Auto Company.
- He made the most appearances in the first season (four).
- He then appeared in only three from season 2 and had a three-way tie for appearing only twice in seasons 3, 4, and 5.
