The Time Stream is a tool used by Chronicoms to predict the future allowing them to adjust the timeline to what they want it to be.

After the Ambush at the Lighthouse, Enoch brought Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons to a distant part of outer space. After studying the Time Stream for four years, Fitz started working a Time Drive as well as a Quantum Tunnel. When Enoch time traveled with the S.H.I.E.L.D. team back to the past and created a branch timeline, he dropped of one piece of the tunnel's activation device as 0-8-4 to S.S.R. and S.H.I.E.L.D. members. In 1983 of an alternate timeline, S.H.I.E.L.D. was destroyed and the remaining agents was gathered at The Krazy Kanoe by the piece they or their family members kept. As the future S.H.I.E.L.D. team arrived, they showed them the pieces and Jemma Simmons assembled it. Simmons placed her wedding ring to activate it and Fitz from 2019 arrived with a plan. After the reunion, the team used the electricity of New York City to power their Quantum Tunnel and time drive in order to send all of the Chronicoms to 2019 with them. However, one must stay behind to activate it and Deke Shaw volunteered. As the team leaves 1983 of an alternate timeline, they arrived in the Quantum Realm and eventually returned to 2019 where they defeated the Chronicoms once and for all.[1]

The Time Stream, in appearance, is a small rectangular device with a blue circular core that glows when active. It works like a supercomputer, constantly performing calculations to predict the likelihood of future events.
- Future Prediction: The Time Stream can grant its users the ability to view potential versions of the future based on information from the recorded past and original timeline. This gave the Chronicoms and later S.H.I.E.L.D. the ability to calculate the risk of their travels. It seems to have a form of encryption or high-level language, only allowing Sibyl and Enoch the ability to properly read its language.
- Virtual Reality Immersion: When connected to a setup similar to the Framework, Leo Fitz was able to view potential futures in a virtual reality setting.
