The Time Sphere[1] was an innovative technological chair used by Kang the Conqueror to travel throughout time, space, and the Multiverse.
History[]
Kang's Multiversal Conquest[]
The Time Sphere was used by Kang the Conqueror to traverse the Multiverse and annihilate universes in order to fulfill the notion he had about the Multiverse dying because of his Variants' actions.[2]
Banished to the Quantum Realm[]
After Kang the Conqueror was deemed too dangerous by the Council of Kangs, his Time Sphere was deactivated by them and he was banished to the Quantum Realm. There, Kang met scientist Janet van Dyne, whom he befriended and worked with to repower the Multiversal Engine Core, which fueled the Time Sphere in order to escape the timeless universe. They experimented constantly, until they finally repowered the Multiversal Engine Core, and began their exit. However, due to the Time Chair being neurokinetic, van Dyne was able to see into Kang's mind, and witness the tyranny he had caused throughout the Multiverse. Stunned, Janet blew up the Engine Core, leaving the Time Sphere unusable and trapping Kang. Despite his imprisonment, Kang gained enough means to conquer the Quantum Realm and used the Time Sphere as the throne of his new empire.[2]
Throne of Kang's Empire[]
Kang continued to use the Time Sphere as his seat of power when he managed to capture Janet van Dyne and revealed his intention of taking revenge on his Variants. It was eventually destroyed by when Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne obliterated the Multiversal Engine Core during the Uprising in Axia, which also resulted in Kang's death.[2]

The Time Sphere is an extremely powerful piece of technology that, when powered, can take the traveler to any point in space and time, which by extension can take them anywhere in the Multiverse. The sphere requires tremendous amounts of energy to power, thus requiring a Multiversal Engine Core.
The sphere is neurokinetic, meaning the user has the power to control it with their thoughts. It is also capable of generating matter; once powered it was able to create a new suit for Kang.
