Power armor[]

Hi,just read your comment about the power armor in F76. If that's the case and all the T-## armor is randomised as long as a chassis spawns, I was thinking maybe we could consolidate all the locations on the Power armor (Fallout 76) page rather than putting them on the individual power armor pages. Thoughts? --L84tea (talk) 01:57, January 7, 2019 (UTC)

Ooh just saw your raider armor comment. Nvm then :) --L84tea (talk) 02:14, January 7, 2019 (UTC)
I'll try and consolidate it at some point when I get a bit of free time to put everything together in one shot. Don't wanna leave things half-baked with something like that. Of course if you get some time, feel free to make the location list - I think what you've done with the notes on the power armor pages is good though. --L84tea (talk) 04:39, January 8, 2019 (UTC)

Vertibots/birds in Watoga[]

Thanks for bringing that to my attention! For the most part, I replaced vertibird with vertibot because there is no page for vertibirds in 76 and the previous link went to an overview page. However, if they are actual vertibirds, then I think they can be re-added without a link. AllYourFavorites! (talk) 22:35, January 19, 2019 (UTC)

Power armor[]

Well, if we did that for Fallout 76, then there's some reason we should also do for past games. You could create a subpage, like Codsworth/recognized names. That's the only idea that comes to my mind. ☢ Energy X ☣ 20:45, January 31, 2019 (UTC)

I like it the way it is, the page is not that large, and the location header is easy/fast to see. If you're looking power armor chassis on google, it's the first entry, power armor chassis locations is the third, so look pretty good to me. I'd say let Power armor locations (Fallout 76) be a redirect. Nice work on that page by the way! Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:39, January 31, 2019 (UTC)
I just created those redirects. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:23, February 1, 2019 (UTC)
That's ok. Good work on the page. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:32, February 1, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Power armor locations page[]

Do you mean my deletion of the redirect page "Power Armor Location (Fallout 76)"? I deleted that one because the capitalisation was incorrect. We already have Power armor locations (Fallout 76) and Fallout 76 power armor locations as redirects.

By the way, the tables and images look really great!

No problemo!

Plan[]

I checked the plan with the Fo76 editor and it's a fixed item at Black Mountain Ordnance Works. I restored the plan, rest is just common clothes, isn't fixed loot. If you want to try the program, [1]. After installing rename the XEdit executable to Fo76Edit and it should work. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:45, February 6, 2019 (UTC)

Power armor locations[]

Quite honestly, I wouldn't mind forking the page into something like "Fallout 76 power armor locations," considering how big those (multiple!) tables are. You might get better results putting it to a vote with a forum post, though. AllYourFavorites! (talk) 22:51, February 12, 2019 (UTC)

Thank you![]

The list of FO76 power armor chassis locations is amazing! AnudderArcher (talk) 02:47, February 13, 2019 (UTC)

Edits[]

No worries. The content is good and that's the main thing, the whole wiki style deal will come over time. Re: the fissure sites page, the existing main image was pretty bad so making one of your pics the new main image was a no-brainer. :) Thanks for all your contributions to the FO76 pages in general. I've been super impressed with how fast you made and populated that power armor locations page, felt like every time I popped on there to see how it was going it had doubled in size.

P.S. The worst thing about trying to photograph fissure sites is finally taking down the scorchbeast, lining up the shot and then a new one spawns on top of ya. Stealth boys almost definitely the way to go. --L84tea Tea kettle 08:53, February 15, 2019 (UTC)

Fissure site[]

Fissure site Prime is the same as fissure site Zeta, no doubt about it. I checked in the game editor, and I have a personal map which helped me add all the infobox stats, they match. You can add a note as such. Thanks for those images! Hope you can find another nice project for yourself. We still needs lots of holotape/note/key images... or maybe something else. Power armor[]

Can you first put your ideas in a sandbox? (which you're already doing). Don't know about removing the power armor section on the Fallout 76 armor and clothing page yet. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 22:27, February 20, 2019 (UTC)

Ok, look good, the overview is better now the armors are displayed by level. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:39, February 21, 2019 (UTC)

All of Fo76 Power Armor pages looks great now, thanks! 0xe1 (talk) 11:49, February 23, 2019 (UTC)

Re: New power armor location[]

Honestly I was shocked that I got to add something to the page, it's so thorough. Maybe it was added in the patch, not sure. I don't normally head up that end of the map :) --L84tea Tea kettle 09:59, March 20, 2019 (UTC)

Gatling plasma[]

Sorry about that, was trying to make the article more clear and assumed it worked like a gatling laser. Aiden4017 (talk) 00:06, April 4, 2019 (UTC)

Surfac to Air missile[]

No, leave it as it is. Game files refer to it as automated surface to air missile. As far as I know it's just mentioned once as AAA, on that note. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 16:06, April 7, 2019 (UTC)

Thunder Mountain[]

Good idea! I've added it. You should feel free to make the edit next time though. Don't wanna steal your good idea thunder mountain power plant ;) --L84tea Tea kettleWould you like a cup of tea? 23:50, April 14, 2019 (UTC)

Map[]

That's a bit out of my domain. What I can say is that I believe that some guys have an access to the game's editor, which allows them to look into some game data, and that could be a good guess where you could find that sort of map.

Or perhaps you meant this? ☢ Energy X ☣ 22:24, April 23, 2019 (UTC)

I added the locations names to the map. No, I don't have them in a separate layer. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 23:11, April 23, 2019 (UTC)

DR[]

The categorization for physical/explosive damage resistance in-game is Damage Resistance. Energy damage and radiation damage are governed by Energy Resistance and Radiation Resistance. Although I see I'm going to have to already fix the page again are Camel's edit. Great Mara (talk) 16:06, May 5, 2019 (UTC)

Line in the Sand[]

Yes, I think other factors are taken into account for experience. I've already seen the differences to what I added compared to quest youtube videos. The data I'm adding comes from source files, probably they are base experience points. Not sure how to handle it yet. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:44, May 13, 2019 (UTC)

I understand you have been a Bethesda fan since Morrowind, well I happen to have loved (still do) Morrowind. I really liked the fact about how much armor you could equip at one time, and the story lines in the game were great too, the journal was set up really good, in my opinion better that most of Bethesda's games, though if were talking easy access then Skyrim has all others beat. Power armor locations maps[]

I downsized your maps on the Power armor locations (Fallout 76). They totally took over the page in my opinion. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 16:47, May 14, 2019 (UTC)

That was the point, actually. Good maps of locations are one of the very best tools to find items. I intentionally scaled them so that the icons and place names were easily usable without having to click on the image to enlarge it at the expense of not being able to use the rest of the page while the image was open. I checked on my tablet and was able to pan between the maps and the descriptions easily and didn't have to leave the page to use the maps. --Lakewalker (talk) 17:18, May 14, 2019 (UTC)
Well, I still don't agree with your size spreading over the entire page. It screams. With the new size you still have an indication. If you want a closer look, people can click on it. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:22, May 14, 2019 (UTC)
