X-01[]

While they do look a bit similar, we need more than that to state it was made by the Enclave. There are plenty of other explanations as to why there's a suit of armor that looks similar to the advanced power armor, especially considering there's been zero mention of the Enclave even ever being in the Commonwealth. Paladin117>>iff bored; 02:02, February 12, 2016 (UTC)

Well, I'm glad you could clarify on that--Kelis98 (talk) 02:05, February 12, 2016 (UTC)

University Point Pharmacy[]

Where and when does this pharmacy pop up in Vault-Tec Workshop? I can't find any reference in the Creation Kit. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 20:48, July 26, 2016 (UTC)

Play the game, look near university point. It is connected to the vault caverns. (Kelis98 (talk) 23:03, July 26, 2016 (UTC))
What is the name of the Pharmacy's local map? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 01:15, July 27, 2016 (UTC)
I'm not sure, but when I check, I'll let you know. (Kelis98 (talk) 01:19, July 27, 2016 (UTC))
Its interior is a part of vault 88, so perhaps that answers your question. (Kelis98 (talk) 15:06, July 27, 2016 (UTC))
Which quest does it play a part in? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 15:09, July 27, 2016 (UTC)
It's not a part of a quest, it's just a location. (Kelis98 (talk) 15:12, July 27, 2016 (UTC))

Chosen One[]

Klamath Bob in Fallout: New Vegas mentions the Bishop Child ending of Fallout 2, an ending that can only be achieved if the Chosen One is male. Paladin117>>iff bored; 11:33, August 12, 2016 (UTC)

ArcJet[]

It's already one page, there's nothing to combine. Paladin117>>iff bored; 00:50, August 19, 2016 (UTC)

I meant like this. (Kelis98 (talk) 00:52, August 19, 2016 (UTC))

Why not?, it's both a company and a location. (Kelis98 (talk) 01:03, August 19, 2016 (UTC))

That doesn't mean it gets two infoboxs. The only pages that have ever gotten more than one infobox are pages that are both a quest and an achievement, and that's because they're almost always short. This isn't even the only page that is both a location and company, and they only have one infobox too. Paladin117>>iff bored; 01:12, August 19, 2016 (UTC)

Vault-Tec[]

And the United States of America is often simply referred to as "America", but I doubt that's what Wikipedia calls the page. Caesar's Legion is often referred to as just the Legion, but we still call it Caesar's Legion. It's oddly common to use the full name. Paladin117>>iff bored; 01:01, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

That's not really what I meant, but ok. But really, other than that one time, when is it called the Vault-Tec corporation?, it's also been called Vault-Tek before as well. (Kelis98 (talk) 01:12, August 21, 2016 (UTC))

Pages[]

Remember, not all words of the title of the article are to be capped. Words like "trainyard" are not, say, symbolic enough to be capped. ☢ Energy X ☣ 14:32, June 19, 2018 (UTC)

Ok, I assumed that since it was a title that it was (like how most things seem to be). (Kelis98 (talk) 16:20, June 19, 2018 (UTC))

Bad practice[]

Misnamed files shouldn't be on the article pages. Restoring files from people who can't be bothered to read or follow upload rules only reinforces bad behavior from them. Great Mara (talk) 04:44, November 20, 2018 (UTC)

Why not just rename it?, it will just be reuploaded by someone else. (Kelis98 (talk) 04:50, November 20, 2018 (UTC))
Users need admin rights to rename files. And they shouldn't be on the pages until they're renamed. Great Mara (talk) 04:52, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
I meant why can’t you (assuming you’re an admin) or another admin do it? (Kelis98 (talk) 04:59, November 20, 2018 (UTC))
They can, but again. They shouldn't have to. Constantly having to clean up behind users who don't read the site rules isn't acceptable. Great Mara (talk) 05:04, November 20, 2018 (UTC)
No it’s not ideal, but it’s better than doing nothing (not that it’s as relevant now that the picture has been replaced and/or renamed) (Kelis98 (talk) 05:58, November 20, 2018 (UTC))

Canon Edits[]

Hello,

I saw that you edited the canon page. Changes to this page are usually done after community discussion. In the future consult with other members of our community before doing changes to this page.

Thanks,

Jgrsoto Coat of arms of Puerto Rico 02:37, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Alright, though I'd argue that if some events are referenced that makes the game at least partially canon. Calling tactics non canon just doesn't sit right with me. (Kelis98 (talk) 02:41, 4 June 2021 (UTC))

Guidelines page[]

Hello, I saw the back and forth on the canon guidelines page and wanted to stop by and apologize. The topic is frustrating for everyone, a complicated thing to discuss and agree on. The canon page as it is right now its the closest we have come as a community to consensus on how we as a wiki define source, game, and reference. This doesn't mean that is correct, or that it could ever really be correct.

All and all, its tough because its subjective, based on countless nuances, conflicting statements, for games created by several companies, by countless developers, over the course of nearly 25 years. I also don't agree with parts of it, but since it is the most recently voted-in guidelines page, we have to leave it as-is despite it being rebarbative unless/until a future vote.

I hope this gives a little bit of insight on the page, and the history of it. The article's talk page, which is older than some of our users, can be used to discuss changes. Oh and please accept a virtual high five for editing boldly, seeking out information, sharing it, and overall helping our articles improve. Of course message me any time, I am all ears and ready to help with anything I can. Thank you for being here and for all your contributions. -kate (kdarrow Pickman heart take her for a spin! 03:05, 4 June 2021 (UTC))

Tactics and semi-canon[]

Hello, this is just a heads up that I removed your changes regarding Fallout Tactics and it being semi-canon. Let me know when you found the dev stream you mentioned on those talk pages, I'm sure that we can work something out with a source. Have a great day and happy editing. –FindabairMini-JSPnP LogoThe benefit of the doubt is often doubtful. 08:12, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
