Thanks for the preview! I haven't had the color glitches, but that's probably cuz I'm using a tex pack. FINALLY MORE FPS AGAIN!!!!! x1000000000000
As for when it comes out, i'm probably gonna switch to the multi-core version, as this preview isn't as fast. It's still better (WAY BETTER) than vanilla. MORE DIAMONDS FOR YOU! XD x1000
With the last version of Optifine I was running about 70 FPS at far rendering distance with a few minor tweaks. Now i use it and the FPS are at about 30-40. Is there any way this can be fixed upon official release? I know there are a lot of different types of Optifine i.e. smooth, multi-core. Would downloading one of these versions change the performance?

I believe the version you should use for increasing the FPS is the Optifine Smooth. I have used that in 1.1 and it ran my Minecraft perfectly, even when the render distance was on high (which my computer would lag with). I hope the version works for you!
I have found with the preview installed there are moments where my keyboard is unresponsive. Don't know if this is a known problem or it is just me. Other than that it is running great. Keep up the awesomeness!
This is my first time using optifine but , While the player is under water looking at glass under water the glass flickers kinda flashs light vary rapidly quite annoying mabye some kind of lighting bug i dont know.
If the player is above water looking at glass under water its perfectly normal.
I thought it might have been a bug with the clear water setting , but with clear water both on and off i get the same problem.
Edit- Seems this isnt just limited to glass blocks my cobblestone blocks are also doing this ....

Is that the way it was origionally ment to be used?
North (tinted green)

As you can see, North is the only one that bugs out.

One side of grass using Better Grass is oddly green tinted.
Everything else is like totally awesome!
Anyone know if this is OptiFine related?
