The book comes with a slipcover, displaying Thor in a storm while he is holding Mjølnir. On the back of the slipcover, Loki sits on the steps to the throne with a sinister look. The book itself has a similar cover as the Book of Yggdrasil. It features artwork of characters, weapons, storyboards of major events and locations on outer worlds in Thor: The Dark World. It also brings a closer look into the pages of the Book of Yggdrasil and features small background information about the displayed artwork.
