Plot[]

Part 1[]

Adrian Toomes' Crew cleans up the damage from the Battle of New York, when they are cut off by Anne Marie Hoag arrives with the United States Department of Damage Control to take over clean-up. Toomes pleads with Hoag, but Hoag responds that she can take it up with their superiors. Toomes' crew watches a news report about the damage being handled by Damage Control and Stark Industries, upsetting them. Phineas Mason says that they could have made cool inventions if they had the Chitauri technology, and Toomes decides to keep the stuff they took from the previous day.

Years later, Toomes returns to his headquarters as the Vulture and says that his business is good.

In Queens, Peter Parker and Tony Stark film a video for Parker's aunt as a cover story for Parker's involvement in a fight in Germany. Stark tells Parker that he can keep the suit and that Happy Hogan will be working with Parker. Parker asks when his next Avengers mission will be, and Stark says that someone will call him to tell him.

Parker goes to school with Ned Leeds, who expresses excitement about the possibility of Parker having a job at Stark Industries. Leeds invites Parker to his house, and they go to class. Parker tells Roger Harrington that he cannot to Washington, D.C. for the Academic Decathlon, so Flash Thompson is told to play in his place. Parker leaves school and gets a sandwich from Delmar before putting on the Spider-Man Suit. He stops a bicycle robbery, helps an old woman, and calls Hogan to report on his activities. Parker sees a group of people entering a bank to rob it, and tries to stop them. This leads to Delmar's Deli-Grocery exploding due to the robbers' use of Chitauri technology, and Parker manages to save Delmar in time.

Parker tries to tell Hogan about what happened, but Hogan brushes him off. Parker returns home and climbs on the ceiling in his room, which Leeds sees, causing him to realize that Parker is Spider-Man. Parker pleads with Leeds not to tell anyone and sends Leeds out of the apartment. Leeds asks Parker questions the next day, and they overhear Liz Allan saying that she has feelings for Spider-Man. Leeds blurts out that Parker knows Spider-Man, and Thompson suggests inviting him to Allan's party.

Parker, as Spider-Man, sits outside of the party and practices what he will say, when he notices a large explosion in the distance. Parker sees Toomes' crew selling a weapon to Aaron Davis, when his phone goes off, prompting the weapons dealers to pull their gun on Davis. Parker interrupts and engages with Herman Schultz, who knocks him backwards before getting in their car and driving away. Parker attaches to the truck and gets dragged by it, until he gets picked up by the Vulture and dropped into the water. An Iron Man armor pulls Parker out, and Stark remotely scolds Parker for being reckless, despite Parker's insistence that he is ready for more.

Parker finds a piece of technology and studies it with Leeds in school. Leeds suggests that it is charging something, and they decide to continue studying. Parker and Leeds track the arms dealers to Maryland, so Parker rejoins the Decathlon team. Hogan calls Parker about leaving New York, but Parker convinces him that it is not a big deal. Parker has Leeds remove tracking and "Training Wheels" protocols in the Spider-Man suit and Parker goes to Maryland, where he sees the Vulture attacking a Damage Control truck. Parker confronts Vulture, who locks him in the truck.

Parker wakes up in a facility and is locked in, so he talks to Karen about Allan, before realizing that he had only been there for thirty-seven minutes. Karen tells Parker that the technology they had been carrying around was a bomb, while Leeds places it in his backpack and goes to the Decathlon. Parker's team wins as Parker rushes to deal with the bomb. The class goes to the Washington Monument and enters the elevator, where it becomes unstable and causes an explosion, damaging the elevator.

Part 2[]

Peter Parker climbs the Washington Monument while his classmates attempt to climb out of the unstable elevator they are in. Parker stops the elevator from falling and saves his class. Parker has Karen run facial recognition on the weapons dealers he met, and tracks Vulture down to the Staten Island Ferry. Parker interrupts a weapons deal and gets attacked by Vulture, whose weapon breaks the ferry in two. Parker struggles to hold the boat together with his webbing, but Tony Stark comes and pushes the boat together. Stark scolds Parker for not listening to him and takes the Spider-Man Suit back.

Parker asks Liz Allan to the Homecoming dance and goes to her house for the dance, only to learn that Allan's father is the Vulture, Adrian Toomes. Toomes realizes that Parker is Spider-Man and threatens him after Allan gets out of the car. Parker leaves the dance and goes to stop Toomes from stealing Stark Industries weapons. The two fight outside of the Stark Cargo Plane, which blows up and starts crashing. Parker crashes it into Coney Island, and Vulture continues to attack him. Parker pulls Toomes out of an explosion and leaves him to be found by Happy Hogan.

Allan and her mother move out of town and Michelle Jones becomes the head of the Decathlon Team. Stark offers Parker a chance to become an Avenger, but Parker turns him down, wanting to be a neighborhood hero. Stark gives him a Spider-Man suit, and his aunt catches him wearing it.
