Many have been asking what Enthusiast Gaming spoke about at the #IABPlayfronts last month, so here it is:   Gaming Communities are the Ultimate Influence drivers for Brands!   We invited the room to join our dinner party, as we walked through the matrixed layers of gaming media. Some of the key takeaways:   1) Communities > Audiences 2) Gaming is the most IMPACTFUL form of media to drive INFLUENCE due to: *Immersive Environments* **Quality Communities** ***2 Way Dialogue = 1:1 Connection*** 3) Gaming Media still needs deeper: *Education* Most buyers get that gaming is engaging, yet still place gaming buys in a gaming bucket. Gaming is matrixed - it's not just a vertical (a passion point), but a horizontal (a platform for any audience buy) **Simplicity** More templatized custom packages/tentpoles will drive quicker and more seamless adoption in the around-game environments ***Measurement*** The vocal nature of the gamer sets this form of digital entertainment apart from the rest, it is time we begin to measure the dialogue for learnings around brand Influence (recall, sentiment & affinity) If you registered for the event you can watch all the content on the IAB website for a limited time.
