Richard's Haberdashery is an unmarked location and pre-War company in Atlantic City in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground. It is a storefront found in the flooded city center.

Background[]

A store for men's clothing and accessories before the Great War, Richard's Haberdashery continued to operate after the bombs dropped, though appears to have moved locations, abandoning the old building. Billy Beltbuckles is a patron of the store, having bought four leather belts (in chestnut brown, mahogany and black) together with replacement buckles, to create his Buckled Up outfit. Billy's obsession over protecting himself with belts, including the ones from the haberdashery, came after he was pantsed by Sal Sticky Fingers.[1][2]

Appearances[]

Richard's Haberdashery appears only in Fallout 76, introduced in the Expeditions: Atlantic City update part two, America's Playground.

Behind the scenes[]

During the first release of the Public Test Server for America's Playground (v0.2.1403.1), the Richard's Haberdashery storefront had a sign that was created out of pre-existing block letter assets. With PTS version 0.2.1413.0, Richard's Haberdashery and many other stores in the flooded city center were given unique sign textures for their locations.
