Nut Island wastewater treatment plant was a pre-War civic maintenance facility.

Background[]

The company processed water from waste for the Boston region. Before the war, employees from the Weston water treatment plant attempted to use water from Nut Island to pass as their own due to concerns with contamination at their facility.^[1] After the war, the Warwick family has settled there, utilizing the fertile land for farming.
