Ancião Arthur Maxson' (Registro da Irmandade MX-001E) é o último descendente da linhagem Maxson. Ele serviu como escudeiro na Citadel em 2277 e em 2287 é o comandante supremo[1] do Capítulo da Costa Leste da Irmandade do Aço.

- Arthur pode pegar uma garrafa de Whiskey ou cerveja da Citadel e beber dela, similar aos outros personagens.
- Uma de suas falas é o que conecta a Armadura potente do Enclave de Fallout 3 à advanced power armor Mk II presente em outros jogos, sugerindo que seus membros estejam equipados com ela.[2]
- Maxson é um dos dois personagens em Fallout 3 que recitará trechos do Codex, o outro sendo Star Paladin Cross.
- A Armadura Potente T-60 que Maxson usa durante Airship Down é a única armadura encontrável já no nível mais alto (F), além de ter a pintura única de Ancião.
