Koh-Lanta[]
William was one of two contestants, the other being Léa Notardonato, to join the game at the beginning of the second cycle. After winning the corresponding Reward Challenge, the Kadasi tribe selected William to join them and increase their numbers to ten mainly because doing so would prevent William from showing the rival Matukad tribe how to make fire. William was well received by his new tribemates and they appreciated how he helped them find edible fruits around their camp as they went on to win the Immunity Challenge of that cycle. In spite of this, William naturally was concerned about his position on the tribe because he was its newest member.
At the beginning of the third cycle, the twenty remaining contestants competed in an endurance challenge in which the two contestants that dropped out first of the tribe that would see all of its members drop out before the last of the other tribe's members would face off in an elimination duel. Nathalie Suhard and Amri Madani were the first and second, respectively, to drop out of the Kadasi tribe and Cécile Poprawa and Mégane Rouland were the first and second, respectively, to drop out of the Matukad tribe. Though William had put in his best effort and was the last of the Kadasi tribe standing, he did not outlast the last two Matukad tribe members and failed to save Amri and Nathalie from the elimination duel. Nathalie lost the duel and was eliminated from the game. Though William was a force to be reckoned with during the prior challenge, he faltered greatly in the water during the third Immunity Challenge, which the Kadasi tribe lost.
Back at camp, Pauline Bonneil, Léa Sahin, and William, who were outside of the majority alliance, recognized that they were in danger of being voted out and searched for Hidden Immunity Necklaces. Pauline succeeded in finding one and Aurélien Dulau found one that could only be used at the coming Tribal Council, but William failed to find one. During their searches, Léa S. and William bumped into each other and discussed the possibility of the three on the outs playing a Hidden Immunity Necklace correctly and then voting together against one of the members of the majority alliance instead of voting against each other. However, at Tribal Council, this counterattack did not happen as Pauline held onto her Hidden Immunity Necklace, William voted against Léa, and the rest of the tribe voted out William for being a possible liability in aquatic challenges.
