Which Robinson players of all time do you think played the best games. Name one Sole Survivor and another contestant, motivate your choices.
My choice for best the Robinson Sole Survivior of all time is: Olivia Lindegren (Robinson 2024)
Olivia played a under the radar game while still being in the majority. She managed to orchestrate vote offs, for exemple the Lars vote off. Most times she also decided the alliances targets. She also stayed true to herself and her allies during her entrie game.
I really do think that Joanna Swica (Runner-Up: Robinson 2021) is the best Robinson player of all time. Despite coming into the games as a joker, she quickley managed to integrate herself into the majority. She successfully maneged to pull blindsides against Hayes Jemide and Ludvig Andersson, as well correctly splitting her alliances votes to vote out both Johanna Thorén and Andreas Alseryd. She had a great understanding of the game and therefore managed the game to be played the way that she wanted. She also played the game in a way Robinson haven't seen before.
What are your thoughts?😊
Reading the section on Ethan’s wiki page about his cancer diagnoses, it appears to imply that Ethan was still diagnosed with cancer when he competed on WaW. I’m just wondering if this may be a wording issue and Ethan was in remission when he competed, or he was still dealing with cancer for how many years since his second diagnosis. I’m inclined to believe the former is correct, given I distinctly remember Ethan talking on the show about the charity that directly funded his treatment and a post he’d made shortly before the season where he talked about life in remission. If nothing else his IG bio says he survived cancer twice, and I’m inclined to believe Ethan beat cancer the second time around before WaW.
If anyone can help me to clarify this section that would be great. I don’t really know if I’m supposed to believe that he’d be able to come back on Survivor while still suffering from cancer.
I am not explaining the rules again, click the link to last year's post to read it.

Today, on International LGBT Pride Day, we want to recognize all the contestants of Survivor México who have given visibility and representation to the LGBT+ community on the show. Since its first season, Survivor México has stood out for accepting members of the community without discrimination or distinction, being one of the first reality shows in Mexico to have true diversity among its contestants.
One of the greatest exponents of LGBT+ visibility on the show is Nahomi Mejía, one of the first, if not the first, transgender women to participate in a reality competition show in Mexico. Nahomi is a professional makeup artist and model born in Costa Rica, who moved to Mexico upon reaching adulthood, where she began her transition to her true self.
Nahomi participated in the third and fourth seasons of Survivor México. On both occasions, she stood out for her strength, passion, and survival skills. Despite some conflicts, Nahomi even became a mother figure to several contestants. Due to a twist where contestants competed for so-called Symbols, with the one accumulating the most securing a spot in the finale, an accomplishment that Nahomi achieved in her first season. Subsequently, Nahomi lost the finale decided by public vote. In her second opportunity, Nahomi reached a well-deserved sixth place.
Unfortunately, outside the show, Nahomi faced a significant amount of hate comments on social media, accompanied by transphobic attacks based on the excuse that a transgender woman should not compete against cisgender women. Possibly, transphobia was one of the reasons Nahomi did not become the Sole Survivor of Survivor México, showing that much remains to be done in Mexico and the world for a more tolerant and respectful society.
One of Nahomi's most significant moments on the show was when she opened her heart and talked about her life story and transition, being one of the first times these topics were addressed with complete freedom on national television. Nahomi spoke about the origin of her name from her childhood, making a beautiful analogy about her transition: “The name Nahomi was born from a book, I remember, I was 8 or 9 years old, and it was the story of a caterpillar, and I identified a lot with it because it was the ugliest little worm in its village, and no one thought that caterpillar would turn into a butterfly, would fly higher than everyone, and would bring food to the village. I knew my name would be Nahomi since I was 10 years old. I compare my life to the metamorphosis of a butterfly.”
Another moment of LGBT+ visibility was when contestant Gabo Cuevas, in the third season, spoke about his relationship with his father after watching a video of him. He mentioned that the shirt he wore to Survivor was a gift from his father many years ago, and he talked about how difficult it has been for his father, who is a pastor, to accept him as a homosexual: “The estrangement between my father and me began the day I told him I was a homosexual. For many years I tried to understand why my father wasn’t happy, why he had trouble accepting his son. And I learned that I can't change my dad's mindset, that he's the dad I got, that this is the family I got. And that shirt gave me empowerment, love, and strength. I love him, that's the reality, he knows it, I've told him. And Survivor has taught me that. When I saw that video, I got very emotional because I know there's hope outside that we can recover many years, many talks, many laughs.”
Additionally, we celebrate the fact that in four out of the five seasons of Survivor México, there has been an LGBT+ representative in the finale. And for the first time in this fifth season, Esmeralda Zamora became the first female and LGBT+ community member to win Survivor México.
Finally, we recognize all those who, for some reason or another, do not appear in the cover photo due to their privacy or the inability to confirm their belonging to the LGBT+ community, those who are in the closet, and all the members of the Survivor México staff and production who belong to the community.
Let this day serve as a reminder of the importance of continuing to fight, because all stories must be told. May people in the LGBT+ community have less fear of being censored on the show, whether by production or by limiting themselves in expressing, talking about their lives, or communicating with their partners. May visibility and acceptance transcend to the public so that anyone in the LGBT+ community understands that there is nothing wrong with them and that others can build their understanding and tolerance towards the community.
Hi admins, I found Drew’s and Moriah’s Twitter (aka X)

It has come to our attention that a former Survivor contestant tried to "rebrand" themselves for a job opportunity by editing their own Survivor Wiki article to remove any reference to their bad behavior on the show (and yes we can confirm the account was from the actual person concerned, not a lowlife poser like the ones we usually encounter regularly on the wiki). They even asked Fandom management to delete their cast photo and/or their article entirely, threatening legal action (to which I'm confident won't hold up) if we do not comply. We even diligently edited their page to ensure its objectivity.
The issue is currently a bone of contention between the Survivor Wiki admins and Fandom management with no clear resolution as of posting, but the Survivor Wiki admin panel unanimously opposes deleting the article. We want to make this clear for future contestants: if you do become a Survivor contestant, fully knowing you'll be filmed 24/7, and yours actions shown on television for the world to see, act responsibly. While the admin panel ensures articles are written objectively and in good faith, Survivor Wiki will not be liable for any untoward incident following a contestant showing bad behavior in-game that is referenced on this wiki.
If you regret your actions on the show and want to change, improve yourself, but don't expect Survivor Wiki to censor or coddle you. We are a Survivor-based encyclopedia, not your LinkedIn.
Take responsibility for yourself.
P.S. We will not name the person involved. Requests for their identity will be ignored, any in-wiki discussions outside this thread will be deleted, and anyone who does know the person's identity and decides to play hero by naming them outright will be given a permanent ban immediately and considered an undesirable user.
EDIT (as of June 29, 2024): In light of the above mentioned, we revised the Assumption of Good Faith and Social Media Policies in to make sure no Survivor personality, whether a contestant or a member of production of any version of the series, will be able to exploit Survivor Wiki for personal gain.

In celebration of Pride Month, we would like to honor a trailblazing castaway from Survivor Philippines who significantly promoted LGBTQIA+ visibility in Philippine television and the international Survivor franchise as a whole. This remains to be a big deal to this day among us Filipino Survivor fans because our country is still predominantly conservative and Catholic, though in recent years, with the popularity of Drag Race Philippines and Drag Den, acceptance of the LGBTQIA+ is becoming more mainstreamed.
A pivotal moment in Philippine television occurred in 2009 when two major reality series, ABS-CBN's Pinoy Big Brother and GMA's Survivor Philippines, each cast the country's first transgender contestants. For Survivor Philippines, this groundbreaking individual was Justine Ferrer, who also happened to be the first transgender to appear in any Survivor franchise.
Justine, the family breadwinner, worked in Japan as a singer at age 19, competed in gay beauty pageants, owned a buy-and-sell business, and managed a baby ultrasound company. At some point in her life, she underwent gender reassignment surgery to align her body with her true identity. She appeared in the Philippine version's second season which was set in Palau. In the early days of the game, Justine had shown she had a strong personality, being opinionated and sarcastic when displeased.
During the first Immunity Challenge, Justine's tribe, Koror, lost. The host, Paolo Bediones, revealed that the "eyes" of the tribal Immunity Idol were actually bracelets, one of which was given by the winning tribe to a member of the losing tribe, granting that player individual immunity for the upcoming Tribal Council. The winning tribe, Airai, gave the first Immunity Bracelet to one member of Koror, Carol Gementiza, Koror's oldest and weakest member, while the other bracelet remained with Paolo until further notice.
With their initial target immune, Koror had to choose another member to vote out. That afternoon, Justine confided in the other women about her identity as a transgender woman. Unfortunately, this led to her being secretly ostracized and unanimously voted out first by her tribe. Unbeknownst to her tribemates, Justine was sent to Redemption Island, known in the Philippine version as Isla Purgatoryo. There, Paolo presented her with the second Immunity Bracelet. She was not entirely alone on the island, however, as she was accompanied by a golden retriever named Jumbo (yes, a dog). As her tribe won Reward Challenges, Justine secretly received a portion of their rewards.
After each Tribal Council, Justine faced the latest voted-out player in a "Face-Off Challenge," with the winner earning the right to stay on the island. Facing and defeating various competitors, including two of the season's physically strongest men, a female Philippine Air Force pilot, and a retired professional basketball player, Justine ultimately won the final challenge, earning her place in the merged tribe, Sonsorol. She was welcomed back to the game with open arms, with her former tribemates cheering her on and later apologizing for their mistreatment of her. Justine's winning streak in Isla Purgatoryo turned her tribemates' impression of her from challenge liability to legitimate threat. Justine made it all the way to the Final Tribal Council, but despite gaining respect from the jury, she came up one vote short, finishing as the season's runner-up in a close 4-3-0 vote.
Following her appearance on Survivor Philippines, Justine briefly pursued an acting career, starring in the 2010 indie film Pulupot, a story that closely mirrored her own life. While she has kept a low profile in recent years, she remains an icon in Philippine reality television and the local LGBTQIA+ community.
Feel free to share your experiences with foreign versions of Survivor in this thread!
P.S. The video below was Justine's re-entry to the game. It is mostly in Filipino, but is has parts in English. Enjoy!

What I mean is like, we used to have the names like “Survivor: Palau”, or “Survivor: Australia”, or “Survivor: All-Stars”, but now it’s just “Survivor 41”. Is there something i’m missing?
Hello!
So I've been editing tribe articles all week, and I noticed inconsistencies in the use of wikicode and templates. To address this, I will be preparing a "Quality Management System", a Google Drive of codes for important articles such as season, contestants, episodes, and game mechanics. All articles shall must have such format.
Post will be updated with the link once available.
FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE.
Has anyone heard of a guy named KC Montero in the franchise series of survivor Philippines? I’ve done some research on his season and watched some videos seeing that he seemed like a hero on the show and a likable guy until what happened at final tribal council when his feelings were hurt because he got robbed because the jury asked the final 4 to vote KC out 4th Place. If I’m not Mistaken it was KC, Betong, Stef and Mara. Mara won individual immunity she’s in final 3. And what it seemed like was going to happen was KC Stef and Mara were going to vote Betong. And betong would vote Stef making betong out 3-1.? But then the jury blurted out that KC should be voted out as he’s the biggest threat to win. The rules clearly state that the jury shouldn’t be allowed to talk on survivor per jury rules until final tribal. The jury broke the rules by giving signals to vote out KC. Which convinced Betong Stef and Mara to all switch there votes to KC. In my opinion KC is the real sole survivor. Betong only won because the jury didn’t follow the rules. I’d be upset and hurt myself too if I were voted out because the jury helped cheat to get KC out. KC was Robbed and probably would’ve won the whole thing if the jury didn’t cheat fully talk at tribal council per jury rules as a contreversial tribal council.
Anyways this is a picture of KC montero. If anyone has watched the season please let me know what happened and all the info to how the season mostly played out please and thanks ?
As promised, a new bingo game will be introduced in Survivor 47. Unlike previous Fantasy Leagues where the bingo game became a race on who gets to eliminate their drafts first, next season, each week, participants will be asked to predict what happens in the next episode. We're basically merging the idea of Bonus Questions and the Bingo Game, thus there will be no more separate BQs.
Rules
Each week, participants must submit a 3x3 bingo card containing 3 events that will happen in the next episode, 3 camp life-related, 3 challenge-related, and 3 game-related (see below).
If the event is shown during an episode's "Next Time on Survivor" or in mid-week promotional materials, the event will not count.
Any prediction may not be answered again the following week, but may be answered again the week after.
