Charles "Charlie" Davis is a contestant from Survivor 46.

On his original tribe, Charlie formed a strategic partnership with Maria Shrime Gonzalez, which went on to control the Siga pecking order and spearhead several blindsides on the merged Nuinui tribe. After jointly orchestrating three consecutive eliminations, each resulting in its victim leaving with a Hidden Immunity Idol, Charlie decided to part ways with Maria at the final six, fearing that their games were too similar and that he had better odds without her at the finals. Successfully separating from Maria, Charlie made it all the way to the Final Three. Despite laying out his strategic journey and demonstrating his control over the game, Charlie was unable to sway the jury onto his side as he narrowly lost to Kenzie Petty in a 5-3-0 vote.

Charlie started the game on the Siga tribe, where he made fast connections with his tribemates. Positioning himself as a swing vote alongside Maria Shrime Gonzalez, the pair sat comfortably between male tribemates Ben Katzman and Tim Spicer and female tribemates Jem Hussain-Adams and Moriah Gaynor who were strategic adversaries. As Siga embarked on an early winning streak, Charlie endeared himself to his tribemates with his love of musician Taylor Swift and his readiness to socialize despite his initial awkwardness.

When Siga finally lost their first Immunity Challenge on Day 11, Charlie was forced to make his first major decision at Tribal Council. Ultimately, Charlie and Maria settled on voting for Jem after suspicions around her re-burying the Siga's Hidden Immunity Idol became more prominent. Doing so successfully flushed Jem's idol, while keeping Charlie's ally Ben in the game and leaving Moriah at the bottom of Siga.

On Day 13, the remaining thirteen castaways were split into two teams of six with one sit-out for the "Earn the Merge" Immunity Challenge. In the end, Charlie's group (consisting of himself, Liz, Maria, Moriah, Soda, and Venus) lost and he did not attend the merge feast or obtain his buff. When the winning six, consisting of Ben, Tim, Hunter McKnight, Kenzie Petty, Q Burdette, Tevin Davis, and sit-out Tiffany Nicole Ervin returned to camp from their merge feast, chaos ensued as they informed the losers about what transpired at the feast. After Venus Vafa heard that the vote was down to her or Moriah, she began to push for Charlie to be voted out instead. Venus argued that Moriah was not a threat and a man needed to go next, Charlie being the only man they could vote for. Charlie swiftly caught wind of Venus' ploy, opting to vote for her that night at Tribal Council. This left him out of the vote as all other votes cast were against Moriah. After Tribal Council, Venus was adamant to find out who wrote her name down in an otherwise unanimous vote against Moriah. After a brief back-and-forth between herself and Soda Thompson, Charlie eventually confessed to writing her name down. He was chastised by Q for this decision, a mistake he was able to turn in his favor in the end when he was welcomed to the Journey Six alliance due to his connection with Maria.

On Day 14, the twelve castaways were divided into teams of six yet again for the Double Elimination. Charlie was placed on a team alongside Maria, who won individual immunity for the cycle. With four members of the Nami tribe on his team and Maria having immunity, Charlie worried about becoming a target yet again, being the only Siga member who could be voted against. Nevertheless, he and Maria were able to exploit the cracks within Nami by latching onto a plan to blindside Soda, which came to fruition later that night.

Over the next few days, Charlie watched as the Journey Six continued to turn on itself, with Q exposing information about Tiffany's Hidden Immunity Idol. During a chaotic Tribal Council, Charlie shared this betrayal with Tiffany, driving a wedge into the quickly deteriorating Yanu Alliance. With Q becoming a social pariah on the Nuinui tribe, Charlie deftly exploited this smokescreen to facilitate Hunter and Tiffany's blindsides, eliminating them with their idols in stow at the next two Tribal Councils.

On Day 21, the final seven competed in an Immunity Challenge which Maria won. Charlie began scrambling to both take the target off his back and have a solid move to show at Final Tribal Council. Because Kenzie and Venus were left out of the Tiffany blindside, the two of them became the prime targets. Charlie wanted to ensure that not only would he be in a majority of four at the final seven, but that his four could move and work together to reach the end-game. While talking with Venus, she told Charlie how she wanted to work with him, attempting to entice him by hinting she had "something up her sleeve". Wary of the risk that Venus had a Hidden Immunity Idol, Charlie settled on a final four consisting of himself, Ben, Kenzie, and Liz. At Tribal Council, the Final Four Alliance temporarily aligned themselves with Maria and Q to set up the illusion that they were still working together. Venus was blindsided, leading Charlie to slowly begin pulling away from his alliance with Maria.

On Day 22, the final six competed in a Reward Challenge for Chinese takeout, a reward which Charlie won. In a twist, it was revealed they would also get letters from home on the reward. After the previous two Reward Challenges painted Q and Maria in a negative light, Charlie made his picks accordingly to benefit his game. He opted to take Liz on the reward, which she met with gratitude. He also took Kenzie on the reward, leaving his ally Maria out of the reward, devastating her and prompting her to entertain a plan to blindside Charlie, which he reciprocated in secret. After Maria won the next Immunity Challenge and thwarted Charlie's plans, his alliance was forced to target her ally Q instead; meanwhile, Maria and Q targeted Charlie. Wanting to keep his options open, Charlie attempted to persuade Maria to vote out Q, which she falsely agreed to do, thinking she had her move against Charlie locked in. Sensing no risk, Q decided not to play his idol at Tribal Council, and the final four alliance prevailed, leaving Maria blindsided and alone. Back at camp, Maria tried to convince Charlie that the others had turned her against him and tricked her; though Charlie saw through the ruse, he pretended to make amends before sealing her ouster at the next Tribal Council.

On Day 25, the final four competed in the Final Immunity Challenge, which Ben won. Charlie was confident in his fire-making abilities but anxious about the circumstances given Ben's close friendship with Kenzie. Charlie asked Ben to take him to the Final Three, a decision that Ben eventually made due to his perception of Liz as the biggest threat in the game. Kenzie defeated Liz in the fire-making challenge, sending her to the jury and rounding out the Final Three.

At Final Tribal Council, the discussion largely centered around Charlie's smart strategic moves clashing against Kenzie's great social game. Charlie highlighted how he managed information, options, and threat level throughout the game, while Kenzie emphasized her positive relationships with the jury and perseverance in the face of her original tribe's early struggles. The jury critiqued both on whether they could set themselves apart with a game-defining move; Charlie cited his assembly of the Final Four Alliance and Venus, Q, and Maria's eliminations as his defining moves. He described how he would be sitting on the jury if he had not made the decision to target Venus at the final seven. His explanation on how he led his alliance against Maria and Q earned him some respect but unfortunately, was not enough to sway the jury. Ultimately, Kenzie was named Sole Survivor in a 5-3-0 vote.

During the Aftershow, the jury detailed the constant flux that occurred during Final Tribal Council. Describing their emotions about feeling torn between Charlie and Kenzie made it all the more disappointing that the vote was so close. Hunter, Liz, and Soda all confirmed that they were convinced by Charlie's pitch as a strategist, though none of them had planned to vote for him beforehand. When Maria and Charlie were asked about their thoughts on the state of the vote, Charlie set aside his disappointment with Maria's decision not to vote for him and gracefully accepted the jury's decision to crown Kenzie.
