"What a Diff'rence a Day Makes" (also known as "What a Diff'rence a Day Made") is a song originally written in Spanish by María Grever as "Cuando vuelva a tu lado". A version in English with lyrics by Stanley Adams was performed by Dinah Washington in 1959.

The Dinah Washington version is featured in the Fallout TV series episodes "The Past", when the Vault 33 dwellers enter the refurbished Vault 32, and in "The Radio", when Norm feeds the raider prisoners.

Lyrics[]

What a diff'rence a day made
Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Mm, where there used to be rain
My yesterday was blue, dear
Today I'm a part of you, dear
My lonely nights are through, dear
Since you said you were mine

Lord, what a diff'rence a day makes
There's a rainbow before me
Skies above can't be stormy
Since that moment of bliss
That thrilling kiss
It's heaven when you
Find romance on your menu
What a diff'rence a day made
And the difference is you
