Italian interwiki[]

Welcome to Nukapedia, Roger! In your recent edits (like this one) you have added interwiki links to the Italian Nukapedia. However, that website has declared itself to be abandoned as it is not longer being maintained. Were you aware of this?
- FDekker talk 23:19, January 20, 2018 (UTC)

Oh wow, that's awesome news! I was already making plans to remove the remaining Italian links from this site, but I guess I can scrap that :P
- FDekker talk 23:27, January 20, 2018 (UTC)
Just helping out to get the Italian wiki going again! Are you a native Italian speaker? I was wondering how you created the pages. I noticed a lot of pages don't have categories and interwiki, you can do that too while you're working on new pages. For the vaults you're using the Vault category, don't you want to use the Italian spelling ((Voltes?). I'd make all these categories Italian. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 14:21, January 26, 2018 (UTC)
A remark, you don't have to upload images to your wiki, you can use the files we have here, just use the same filename and it will pick it up over at the Italian wiki. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:06, January 26, 2018 (UTC)

Project V13 portal[]

Probably an oversight. I changed it to the portal now. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 14:29, February 8, 2018 (UTC)

Wikia right rail[]

That's right, Wikia doesn't allow it and we normally use the right rail. If they see in your main common.css at the Italian version, they'll revert it I think. You can only apply it in your personal css. To get a better width, I'm using a personal wikia.css. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:22, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

Which part are you refering to with "that part in the portals"? Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:37, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
Only thing we can edit there is the Community Messages with {{Community messages}}. You don't have that yet over at the Italian wiki. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 17:50, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
You can change the right rail of a portal with the templates. I've copied our Fallout 3 portal over to the Italian wiki and with a preview I saw that it acts like it does here, with 2 columns, one for the content and one for recent news. Maybe it's because you removed your right rail in the common.css it doesn't work right. Revert that and try again. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:21, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
Isn't that enough, 2 columns? It works here. If you split it into three, the columns become too narrow I think. Splitting it into three is beyond my knowledge, maybe User:The Gunny would have an idea about it if you really want to go through with it. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 18:58, February 15, 2018 (UTC)
I have the feeling we're not understanding each other completely. You can edit the second column of the portal, it's the part following <mainpage-rightcolumn-start />. Gunny isn't very active, but he checks his messages on a regular basis I believe. May be a day or 2. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 19:17, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

( I think I know what you mean now. Your width on the Portal pages is much too narrow because of the Recent Wiki activity in the right rail. Even if you use your css code, it removes the recent activity and you gain some more width, but it's still narrower than we have here. It must be something in our common.css (maybe wikia.css) that solves it I think, but I wouldn't know where to find it. Maybe Gunny knows. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 21:15, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

I'll take a look at it this weekend, if I can. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 02:51, February 17, 2018 (UTC)
I checked all your portals over there and the only one importing the wiki activity module is the one you linked. I do not see it in preview mode when editing, but it shows on page load. I see nothing different in the css, js or the portal templates for it to show up. I would ask wikia to look at why it's loading on that one portal. It was your first portal created, perhaps the namespace was not yet created and it thinks it's a normal mainspace page? Try deleting it and recreating it again? Just a thought. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 21:31, February 17, 2018 (UTC)
I didn't see the commented out css in your common.css. I sent wikia a special:contact asking why, since I still don't see why it's loading there and not here. I'd go ahead and comment out the rest of that code breaking the ToU so they don't see it when they look at it. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 00:33, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
OK, I've heard back from Bert. In short, here's the deal. We have a non-mainspace portal space. They used to allow this, but changed policy aobut 4-5 years ago. All new portal spaces are in the main, which include the loading of the wiki activity module. There's no way around it, as changing it via css is definitely a ToU violation and they said they will act on it. It looks like you're just going to have to live with it. That's all I got. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 23:24, February 20, 2018 (UTC)

(I suspect what you would have to do is amend the javascript to check for the portal namespace, whatever that namespace number is you your wiki. Javascript is not in my bag of tricks so you might want to get someone to look at the script who can handle that. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 20:56, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

I checked for you. On your wiki, the portal namespace id=112. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 21:01, February 22, 2018 (UTC)

Re: Et Tumor, Brute?[]

One works for that sentence, although you can go with "The Courier can..." or "The player character can..." and still have a working sentence. The sentence "Perform the operation and hope well." was a grammatically incorrect statement. Great Mara (talk) 17:19, April 28, 2018 (UTC)

Minigames[]

Hi Roger, as it is a page for a collection of items (in the same way Fallout 4 magazines is), it would be the plural as it covers several items. Disgusting already moved it back before I saw this. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 19:19, May 4, 2018 (UTC)

Cyborg[]

I think, cyborg is fine as it says you have made enhancements to your body and pretty much states they are cybernetic. With Adamantium Skeleton it is a sheet of metal without electronics, so no more bionic than an artificial hip. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 19:43, May 17, 2018 (UTC)

Re:Ingram[]

Wearing a unique power armor frame does not make her a cyborg. If we add her, then we have to add every other power armored soldier in the series. Paladin117>>iff bored; 21:37, May 17, 2018 (UTC)

It's a power armor frame that acts as a prosthesis for her legs. There are no cybernetics involved and it's not grafted into Ingram's body. Great Mara (talk) 21:49, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
That is 100% the point. She didn't have any operations and get mechanical legs, she's just wearing a unique suit of power armor that helps her move around. It's no more than a bipedal wheelchair. Paladin117>>iff bored; 21:52, May 17, 2018 (UTC)

Re:Cyborg[]

The Courier is only noted because it's an unavoidable part of the Old World Blues add-on, and this wiki considers each of the events to at least being started as canon. Great Mara (talk) 23:16, May 17, 2018 (UTC)

Bluntly put, there shouldn't be. They should be clipped down to known canon only like FNV and earlier were prior to FO4s release. Great Mara (talk) 23:36, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
This wiki is for providing factual information on gameplay and canon information. We had a whole project making sure articles were in line with this prior to FO4's release. Non-canon info needs to be culled from articles to bring them back to wiki standards. Great Mara (talk) 23:56, May 17, 2018 (UTC)
