Introduction

Hello! I'm Jack, a former Administrator on this wiki. I can help you with pretty much anything Fallout-related, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me. I have played most of the main series games and I also have some knowledge about lore, and would be more than happy to assist you with any questions you have about the series or the wiki.

For now I mostly do Fallout 4-related content, I contribute with a huge variety of content like images, background info, grammar corrections, screenshots, map markers, etc. I'm very open to suggestions and criticism and I'll happily take into account anything you have to say.

I joined the wiki in early 2016 to help out with missing Fallout content, but have since started a wide range of unique projects. Some of my main goals at the moment involve adding images and settlement objects to Fallout 4 and its add-ons, as well as creating new pages.

If you see this coming your way, it's me!

Projects

I have a lot of projects, but I've listed some of the more important ones here. If you want me to do something, it's a good idea to add it to my talk page.

Ever-ongoing projects

• Disambiguate links on the wiki.
• Fix loose grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

Main projects

• Add pages for everything in Fallout 4 and its add-ons.
• Add a suitable number of images to all Fallout 4 related pages, including add-ons.
• Add images to all Fallout 4 pages needing images.
• Add transparent background to every thumbnail to the subspecies on the creatures.

To-do list

• Add notable loot, terminals, notes, holodisks, etc. To every local map in Fallout 4.
• Add transparent images and create pages to every settlement object featured in Contraptions Workshop add-on.
• Supply every location in the Nuka-World add-on with rudimentary information about its background, layout, local maps, notable loot, etc.
• Add thumbnails for every variant of creatures, factions, robots, etc. In Fallout 4 and its add-ons.

Edits

When it comes to editing I prefer to stick to one of the projects mentioned in my Projects list. But I also need to prioritise what should be done first, and take that into consideration when you start editing. When it comes to adding images to articles I would personally say that for me that is the most time consuming project here on the wiki, sure you can upload thousands of images in a single week with poor quality and no finess, but in the end quality is better than quantity. Not only do you that way supply the wiki with high quality content but it also makes the pages look more trustworthy and good looking. Sometimes having everything nice and well organised is very satisfying, and it should be something that newer users should think about.
