Is this really the T-51b power armor? It has similar pauldrons and helmet (which would be separate item), but the arms and tanks on the back are definitely from the T-45d power armor instead. Seems like it's not only jumping the gun but more than possibly inaccurate to call this the t-51b. The only problem would be where to move it, since everyone in chat seems to be against merging with Power armor (Fallout 4)... Paladin117>>iff bored; 02:09, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

I have no problem right now leaving it for the next 10 days. Clarity will probably come at e3. Right now details and facts are too scarce to know if it 45, 51 or some new model. To avoid the page being constantly remade, I'd say leave it and correct when more info is available. The Gunny  UserGunny chevrons 02:12, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

Suggestion?[]

Why don't we take all of the "Locations" of the T-51 power armor the X-01 power armor and the Raider power armor and any other and instead put in a link to http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Power_armor_frame. Unless a Frame found at a particular location is a permanent fixed thing it shouldn't be on the power Armour's Page as it can be misleading. Such as the T-45 power armor you get in Concord, That's more than like a fixed T-45 suit, Or the T-60 power armor BOS2 you get if you join the brotherhood. If it's just a frame with random Level based pieces it shouldn't be on the Specific P-Armour page instead on a page that lists all frames like the http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Power_armor_frame page. - I do agree in the sense that I feel until we can confirm scripted spawn location of specific suits of Power Armour, the locations should be generalised and moved to a more relevant, generalised page. >Craigpd (Please sign your sig)

"Locations" Secton[]

The Locations section is partially wrong. The T-51 model power armor can be found at S. Boston Military Checkpoint, but at low levels, one will only find a T-45 model, I've tested. At levels 30 < x < 39, T-51 or T-60 models are likely to be found anywhere power armor sets may be found. At 40 < x < 50 levels, X-01 models are most likely to be found where full sets are found. Just adding this for future revisions. AdrienRemaz (talk) 21:06, November 30, 2015 (UTC)

Infobox Image - Modded?[]

The version of the armor in the infobox image appears to be modded. Er, not armor mods, I mean like texture mods. For the game. All non-painted/winterized variants in-game, at least on my end, have the torso in a faded olive green color, likely as a throwback to the T-51's appearance in F3 and the F1 boxart. The page image has it as the same metallic grey as the rest of the armor, which AFAIK isn't possible in-game. Can anyone clarify? --DirtyBlue929 (talk) 04:43, March 11, 2016 (UTC)

Trouble finding at higher levels[]

I can't seem to find T-51 anymore. I found one complete set and parts for another set. But after I got to a certain level I only ever find T-60 now so I can't complete my second set. Is there a way to find lower level power armor pieces? 96.247.194.40 06:18, March 13, 2016 (UTC)

T-51 near General Atomics Galleria???[]

It states that there is a full suit of T-51 Power Armor that is located near the General Atomics Galleria, but at above level 22. However, there is NO Power Armor location near the General Atomics Galleria, and even the map does not show any location for any Power Armor in this area. There are also a number of forum discussions and a reddit page that refers to this exact Wiki page on the T-51, all complaining that it states there is Power Armor near the General Atomics Galleria, and yet no one can locate any. Therefore I propose that it be removed from the list of locations on the T-51's page!

Stop deleting the reason why the T-51 was replaced from the design section[]

The T-51 article is contradictory on the one hand is described as the apex of pre-war power armor yet it was in the middle of being replaced by the t-60 which is described in-game as being the most advanced and has higher in-game stats. I understand earlier games said T-51 was the peak but that's no longer the case given the retcon. As a result, I keep trying to add to the T-51 design article that it was only replaced due to its complexity and difficulty to manufacture but somebody keeps deleting it and changing things back.

The T-51 remains the apex of Pre-War Power Armor design. There is no lore to prove or say that it was ever being replaced by T-60, since gameplay values are not lore, nor does T-60 being more "advanced" mean that it is actively retconning T-51 being the best Pre-War Power Armor. Nor is there anything to prove that it was difficult to manufacture or complex to make. JCB2077 (talk) 00:22, July 5, 2020 (UTC)

The T-60 article specifically says that it was being made to supplement and replace the T-51 because the latter was harder to build. So either somebody is lying or they need to add a cite to clarify this.01:42, July 5, 2020 (UTC)

Incomplete page?[]

I don't know how to format this properly, but y'all should probably fix this article. It's lacking a lot of the information on the actual T-51 in lore. Someone mentioned previously, but according to bethesda's retcon in the new fallout cannon they're building to split apart from all that is holy and black isle T-60 was created right before the war to supplement and replace the T-51 suits. Apparently someone's been removing that, and I know how much it might suck to see bethesda retcon things in the lore (Trust me, I've given up all hope of seeing a classic style fallout game as well, but that's neither here nor there), but editing the wiki page just hurts people trying to get information on this stuff (Like me!) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Weegekarp (talkcontribs). Well, as was also previously mentioned, you'd need to find a specific reference saying that T-60 is totally replacing T-51. They *are* saying T-60 is the most advanced model now (they'll find some way to make yet another "most advanced model" ofc) but again that's not the same thing as "this suit has now made the previous suit obsolete." If you want the better lore overview, check this page and not this game-specific page which is more for gameplay than lore.FDSMDP (talk) 05:05, 10 December 2022 (UTC)
