Beds[]

Destroying beds trick can work with the smallest kind of floor and you don`t have to scrap the floor to rid of the bed, you can store it in workshop. So to rid of all beds you need just one small piece of floor. I`m not adding this to the article because I`m not native English speaker and can do grammar mistakes, but hope someone will read and add info.

Covenant Already Open?[]

I went into Covenant and the doors were open, the characters let me in, and one of them said "I heard about you, you're the stranger!"

I've never been to Covenant, but I had it marked on my map from a DC guard telling me about it. I have completed the game and blew up the Institute. Is it possible they welcome you for destroying the Institute? I found it kinda strange. JuniBug (talk) 05:48, December 30, 2015 (UTC)

Broken Radio[]

Has anyone figured out what to do about the broken radio after it's examined? It's tuned to channel 94 according to the displayed message, but I don't know what to do with that info.

Town goes Hostile when I approach anyone other than Honest Dan. Seems to be related to wearing power armor; possibly tesla mod is true cause.

height limit[]

building on houses is not an option apparently for this settlement. The interface just disappears after a while and I can't place anything, like when leaving the green zone. 21:04, February 22, 2016 (UTC)

Disabling and Deleting Turrets[]

Why, exactly, is there a need for verification on the disable and markfordelete on the bugs section? These are commands that are proven to work on any entity, which you can self-verify at any point in the game by selecting something and typing them in. These would very clearly work for removing the turrets.

Last I checked, actually, respawning only occurs if the Reference ID of the object in question is still being referenced in the cell, with the cell having been unloaded for whatever the game's cell reset timer is (like 3/New Vegas being 72 hours). If you disable it, the game no longer calls that reference in the cell, and if you mark it for deletion, it's no longer available to be called by the game on next load. ~Axelskox User Axelskox talk 18:49, March 23, 2016 (UTC) [signed several days after posting, check history for time of update]

There's no reason for the verify template there. Someone just seems to have added it everywhere. These have now been removed. Aya42 (talk) 20:47, March 21, 2016 (UTC)
Gotcha. Also, I don't know why or how I forgot to sign that...that's so unlike me... ~Axelskox User Axelskox talk 18:49, March 23, 2016 (UTC)

New Covenant Store?[]

If I kill the townspeople as part of the Human Error questline, can I assign someone to Penny's shop to act as a new merchant or do I have to create a merchant booth? --Zach9054 (talk) 02:01, May 18, 2016 (UTC)

Lost ownership of the settlement[]

After disposing of the residents for being lazy bums that I can't order around I set up the town with generic NPCs. At some point I appear to have lost access to the workshop and Covenant is not on my list of settlements. I never accepted a BoS quest which could have taken it from me, but I did just finish the Battle of Bunker Hill.--108.36.89.96 15:21, August 11, 2016 (UTC)

Assigning a doctor[]

The explanation "This is probably due to Covenant already having a resident doctor at the start" could be more precise. I think it's because the doctor's clinic still exists after she is killed, this might sound like a quibble but there's a storekeeper before you kill everyone and that ceases to exist upon their death, so it's the existence of the facility rather than the person that counts. Covenant Built pre-War[]

There's no way that the Covenant settlers could've constructed those houses with such skill and precision. No sources exist of them having the know-how or resources to construct those homes. As for to preserve the American lifestyle, the Covenant houses feature several important elements of the American dream; that white, beautiful picket fence, sprawling green lawn, clear blue skies, complete with mailboxes and milk crates. At least, that's the principle.

Another reason to suggest pre-War Covenant origins; those concrete walls are so precisely put together, and the blocks are carefully cut and measured. CCTV cameras can be found at the entrance to Covenant, also proof that the town is built pre-War; Raiders, Gunners, and fortified settlements instead use spotlights in a similar fashion.

At least the settlers have access to Abraxo cleaners, paint, and a Mister Handy to keep the town in clean, pristine condition. Bluerx833 04:10, June 9, 2017 (UTC)

Are you deliberately being obtuse? Of course it was built pre-War, but where is it stated that it's supposed to be an exhibit of the American lifestyle? Cite it or it gets cut. Great Mara (talk) 04:14, June 9, 2017 (UTC)
Covenant definitely existed pre-War, but there's no apparent source for the claims that it exists to preserve the pre-war American lifestyle (if that's it's goal it's lacking the cars and adequate houses for the number of residents). I could claim that it was built as part of some sort of vault experiment and it would be just as speculative as the claim that it's there to preserve or exhibit the American lifestyle. Richie9999 (talk) 04:19, June 9, 2017 (UTC)

I've checked all the dialogue and terminals that I could using the Creation Kit and checked the strategy guide. None of them even state that the town is pre-War, let alone some exhibit. Paladin117>>iff bored; 04:29, June 9, 2017 (UTC)

Vault 101 connection[]

There are Vault 101 posters throughout Covenant as well as Val-tech armor and at least one intentual Val-tech lab coat. TheEpicNate315 and others confirmed these posters are not Fallout 3 assets copy-pasted into the game. - Vault 101 Survivors in Fallout 4? - Fallout 4's Greatest Unsolved Mystery (23m23s). The research also revealed there was supposed to be a lecture in Vault 81's classroom regarding the G.O.A.T. test but the triggers were damage and the scene never triggers.--BruceGrubb (talk) 14:24, August 11, 2020 (UTC)

Infobox heading[]

Covenant is a settlement. The first note above the {{infobox location}} template reads, its a "Fallout 4 location". It should read: its a "Fallout 4 settlement". Qrsr (talk) 13:01, 23 June 2022 (UTC)
