I ain't wearin' no goddamn tie. Or pants.— Soup Can Harry

Soup Can Harry is the alias of the person chosen for the position of overseer of Vault 114.

Background[]

After 87 interviews, "Soup Can Harry" was found to be appropriately anti-authority to be of use in Vault 114's experiment; the elite of Boston would be sheltered in lower-class housing and facilities with a person furthest from a leader as an overseer. When the 87th candidate interviewed for the position of Vault 114's overseer, he refused to provide his real name to Vault-Tec's interviewer, and during the interview, he went on several rants about his beliefs, including: the federal government branding individuals with ranks and numbers to remove individuality, the slowing progress down with red tape and bureaucracy, the spending of tax money (which he refused to pay) in order to organize Illuminati free mason sex parties, and living as he saw fit (even if that meant sleeping in the streets or consuming Abraxo cleaner if he so chose to).[1]

These normally undesirable qualities made him a perfect fit for the Vault's social experiment, and he was quickly accepted for the position. His only response to this acceptance was to state his refusal to wear a tie or pants.[1]

Appearances[]

Soup Can Harry is mentioned only in Fallout 4.
