The Sentinel's Plasmacaster is a unique weapon in Fallout 4.

Characteristics[]

A plasma weapon that carries the Instigating legendary effect, which grants double damage dealt against targets that are at full health.

Variants[]

• Plasma gun - the common variant found around the Commonwealth.
• Experiment 18-A - a unique variant with the Rapid legendary effect, sold by the synth requisition officer in the Institute.

Location[]

The weapon is located onboard the Prydwen, sold by Proctor Teagan after completing The Nuclear Option followed by A New Dawn.

Notes[]

• The weapon's name is a reference to the P94 plasma caster from Fallout: New Vegas.
  • A P94-style plasma caster would later be added to Fallout 76 in the Wastelanders update.

Behind the scenes[]

The term "Plasma Caster" first appeared in the Fallout Demo, but was absent in the published game.^{[Non-game 1]}
