The Old Rockville Bridge is a location in Zion Canyon in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.

Background[]

The pre-War truss bridge follows along Route 9 through Zion Canyon, spanning the Virgin River near the rock formation called the Spine.

Layout[]

Situated east of Two Skies cave and southwest of the ant burrow, the structure is comprised of steel, wood, and stone pillars, though by 2281, part of the bridge has deteriorated, and a truck blocks a significant part of the path towards the end.

During The Treacherous Road, multiple bear traps will appear on the bridge that must either be disarmed or the White Legs who placed them killed to complete the quest; if the latter is done first, the traps will simply despawn.

Just north of the bridge along the road is a pickup truck with a toolbox and metal box in the back. West from this pickup is a small cache in an alcove of the rock face containing a sack with a medium amount of random loot, an ammo crate, and a bed to sleep.

Appearances[]

The Old Rockville Bridge appears only in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Honest Hearts.

Behind the scenes[]

The in-game Old Rockville Bridge is based on the real-world historic steel truss bridge in Rockville, Utah.[1][2]
