Once the site of oil wells in the 1800s, the dried-up riverbed later became a streamside trail walked on by visitors to Zion Canyon.
After the Great War, on February 23rd, 2096, Randall Clark successfully ambushed and killed eight men from the Vault 22 expedition near the riverbed as retaliation for the group's killing and cannibalizing of a group of Mexican refugees that Clark had been helping.[1][2]
