I got the download link to work, and thank you for this so much! I now have 25fps instead of my usual 11fps! I can sprint with no lag now too! I also love the clear water option, it was a great idea. I just want to thank you and I now support you fully!
This isn't working, and I only have toomanyitems, clay soldiers, and mo' creatures.
did you put the worldedit.jar into your minecraft.jar, or your minecraft/bin? its supposed to be in the bin. Also make sure you didn't put the readme in either. I hope this helped :wink.gif:
I've gone back to 1.8.1 for the moment to try out the multithreaded version, and I've noticed something I also saw in the other A releases: When preloaded chunks are enabled, these chunks do not actually show when you get within range. It's especially noticable in Creative mode when you start flying somewhere. Travel a short distance and you can clearly see the chunk loading border being far nearer than you can expect from the render distance. Go a little further and the terrain suddenly does load. I play on Far render distance with Farview disabled, OpenGL on Fancy, Dynamic Updates On, and Load Far Off. Can you do anything with this?
when you have F3 up you get a huge fps boost and it doesn't show the real fps, this was the same in vanilla as well. i find that rapidly tapping F3 gives you the most accurate results tbh..
would having a fully blank F3 page be hard to implement?
or would figuring out why this happens be easier?
btw once again thanks for the mod mate, this really does make a big difference (with and without the f3 bug--which was also present in vanilla)

Do you get the FPS boost with the option FastDebugInfo set to ON?
If you have an NVidia card you can try to set in the NVidia Control Panel the High Performance option:
Why can't you fix the fancy fog and fancy ambient occlusion(i saw this on the option.txt) detection problem with some ATI(or maybe other) cards. They are supported in my card but OptiFine does not detect that it supports it. Is the detection is only for NVIDIA cards? i have done a manual editing of the option.txt and tested, it is supported and working well.
Minecraft is still in Beta, that's why. Optimization for performance is usually the very last step before release of a software. Mojang already announced that after the adventure update is finally complete (either 1.9 or 1.10) they will concentrate on optimization of the code and bugfixing.
Actually in 5 days they will completely stop working on new features and whatever is done is what is going out for release on the 18th of november. From Oct 18 to release they will be working on optimizations of the code only.
Seriously, there needs to viewable crafting recipes in the game. Go support this idea. Also click on my profile to view my space thread under find content.
whats the difference between optifine classic and optifine smooth or whatever?
Smooth is more advanced; more in description.

How do you get tot hat! I'd like to like to limit my framerate at 30!

with the fast debug on i still get better fps than with f3 closed, but with fast debug off i get better fps than with it on.
avg minecraft speed without f3 open =15-25
avg with fast debug on =25-40
normal f3 =30-70
Computer specs. hopefully getting replaced soon.
install in this order and let me know how it goes.
1.mod loader
2.audiomod
3.gui
4.mo'c
5.optifine
i installed forge first and it works just fine./
i think as a general rule of thumb you will end up installing optifine/mine last.
