My front door lock is working again.

My tasker, Volodymyr, was on time and courteous. He knew exactly what he needed to do. He accomplished it like in 30 mi. He was neat and made sure things were working as it should. I definitely use him again.

Additional hourly task "fee"

Your rate of $17.99 per hour in addition to the Tasker's rate is ridiculous. I would perhaps be ok paying $17.99 per task, but not per hour. Because of this "hidden" fee, I will not ever use TaskRabbit again.

Hired David T

Hired David T. to replace a GFCI receptacle. When he left everything was working even gave him a cash tip. 5 days later it is no longer working.
Called customer service (left my number and kept my place in line. They called back 2 and a half hours later.)
Customer service contacted David T. He was prompt in reaching out but refused to come out and fix his work that lasted 5 days. Was informed for him to come back it would be an additional service call charging what was paid the first time.
Unbelievable!

The task rabbit was unqualified and did…

The task rabbit was unqualified and did not do anything correctly. I tried to hiring a different person to do a different project who is very expensive and they change the time without asking me.

My first time using the service

My first time using the service. The contractor was good and fixed the issue. I do not agree with the fee that taskrabbit is collecting . For couple hours ok but multiple day or all day fee gets larger and not fare to consumer.

Taskrabbit Needs Improvement

My tasker was very nice and we got the job done. That was most important. There was quite a bit of communication (good) up front about logistics, but the Task App already had all of that info pre-loaded so it probably doesn't feed to the tasker. For me the customer, the app doesn't work very well. It's just an interface (iPhone) that flips back and forth to the brouser or texts to engage with the tasker. Re price, you should be able to be charged by the half-hour. My tasker was there less than two hours but I was charged for two (there wasn't a minimum), plus the Taskrabbit service fee which is far too high. You should charge a finders fee of only 10-20%, but it ends up being 35-40%. That's egregious. I will look around next time to avoid paying that Taskrabbit add-on charge.

I’d give a zero if I could

I’d give a zero if I could. I was billed for work/time not completed. Even provided photo and security camera time stamped evidence. The whole experience was disappointing and the resolution not acceptable.

Our installer was great

Our installer was great. All the furniture was put together awesomely. Neatly tucked away all the waste and did an overall excellent job.

The tasker was prompt and careful.

The tasker was prompt. He kept me apprised of his time during the morning and made it on time. He was courteous, very nice to talk to.
He took precautions and made sure my wood desk file cabinet was not scratched.
