Winter release

I am pretty sure that the youtube video (not the minecraft.net) said that it would be a winter release. Combined with being released in 2021, December is the only month that contains winter (after today). I don't want to revert your edit (see Wikipedia:Edit warring). Note that December is not explicitly mentioned here. If it was, then I would be fine with the date being changed to December. However, changing the date to December currently falls under speculation and is not allowed. In addition, the term "holiday", in western countries, generally refers to the season that runs from late November through early January (i.e. Black Friday through the Christian feast day of Epiphany), which further dissuades changing the date to December. Infobox image size is only 10px

I see you added the Minecraft twitter banner to the infobox on your userpage. However, the image is only 10px, meaning that the image can barely be seen and it's contents are not visible on the page. It seems weird that you would add an image but make it so small that it's nearly invisible. Is there a reason for this? James Haydon (talk) 18:16, 25 May 2021 (UTC)

As long as you aren't logged in, you're just another IP address. Stay logged in. You can check a box to keep you logged in so you don't have to do it for several weeks. And also remember, there are no deadlines on a Wiki. You already have the ability to revert vandalism, there is nothing for anyone to answer in this section. Although some of the information that you mentioned is indeed reflective of reality, it is still of unwarranted opinion, such as "many players" missing blocking with a sword; its not reflective of every kind of player. The information about blocking with a sword being "essential" isn't necessary; its worded like a tutorial because it basically is one. That information would be better suited for Tutorials/Combat. The information about spawning in patrols is already mentioned under "Patrols" in the spawning section. As far as I’m aware, there is no specific behavior whether they spawn in patrols or not. BDJP ^(t|c) 07:33, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

About the behaviour: pillagers and vindicators that are part of a patrol (have Patrolling tag set to 1) actually have a different behaviour from pillagers/vindicators spawned as part of mansions or outposts: they have very extended range (at least 20-30 blocks), however they will wait for the player/villager to provoke them before attacking (to provoke them in this state you have to either attack them or to get very close). I am unsure about Bedrock edition however. User-100126180 (talk)

Vengeful vs. Broken Heart of Ender
