Great customer service. Tech support was very professional and helpful. He solved my issue and I can't wait to open a new domain name and hosting with SiteGround. I have been recommending SiteGround to students in the USA.

Siteground Customer Service is Great!

I have been with them for years now and have to say that they have always been great. They really have amazing service that cant be discounted. If you are looking for a solid WP experience and great customer service, this host is the one for you.

Support is always on point.

Sorting out email recipient problems…

Gabriel was very helpful in sorting out my email issues. At the end of it, it wasn't my site at all that was the problem, it was the recipients! He also helped guide me with other issues I had without a problem. I was answered within a minute! Fantastic service Siteground!

Unable to get a refund it's pending in my bank account

Siteground advertised that they provide enhanced email security with their standard hosting package. I was asked to pay extra for it. They agreed to cancel my contract on 18th June 2024.

Today, 16th July 2024, I am still waiting for it. I contacted siteground, basically I have to set up an account to reclaim it. Bunch of thieves!

Firstly, enhanced email security features like Secure IMAP, Secure POP3, Secure SMTP, and our in-house Spam Protection solution are included in your hosting package at no additional cost. We couldn't find any record of our team suggesting you pay extra for these services.

The paid service discussed was for transferring your domain to SiteGround. Our records show that your first contact with us was through our sales chat on June 28, 2024. During this conversation, you purchased a hosting package. Our agent also suggested transferring your domain name to SiteGround for easier management. The domain transfer service is separate from your hosting package and does come with a fee. This cost covers the administrative fees and technical processes involved in moving the domain registration from one registrar to another. Additionally, for most popular generic top-level domains (like .com, .net, .org, and .info), this transfer includes an extra year added to your domain's current expiration date.

However, our agent explained that transferring the domain was entirely optional. You could still use it with our hosting services by simply pointing it to our servers, without transferring the registration to us. This option would not have incurred any additional fees. You expressed frustration that the domain transfer was a paid service and asked for a refund of the hosting plan that you had just purchased, which was initiated immediately upon your request.

We noticed that you reached out to our sales team again regarding the refund without logging into your account. For security reasons, our agent advised that you would need to be logged in to verify your identity and provide more detailed information on billing inquiries.

Based on our logs, we can confirm that the refund was processed on our end on June 28th and returned to the original payment method. If you're experiencing delays, we recommend contacting your bank directly as they can provide more information about pending transactions. For further assistance, you can email our Customer Care Supervisors at feedback@siteground.com. They can provide you with the ARN code to help your bank easily track the refund.

Excellent Fast and Helpful Support (as Usual)!

SiteGround technical support today was excellent, as normal. I have been suffering with a runaway CPU usage issue on one of my hosted sites, which resulted in using 100% of my allocation for the month.
The technician:
1) Quickly identified the source of the problem.
2) Advised me what to do to fix it (with additional references)
3) Temporarily increased my allocation so the site is back up.
I am deeply indebted to SiteGround and highly recommend them as the best hosting service in the universe!
