I joined Site ground for an Ecommerce…

I joined Site ground for an Ecommerce website.
I spoke to Live Chat before signing up I was told that AI will help in setting the website up.
NOT TRUE.

The GROW BIG plan says free DOMAIN and my screenshot doesn't show any notices stating if you cancel they will charge for the domain.

The false advertisement from Site Ground is now being reported.

Since I did not get any help from AI, I tried contacting live chat after signing up and it was the most difficult since they make you SEARCH for Live Chat.

I had to go on to another browser that doesn't have me signed in as a member to be able to chat without SEARCHING FOR IT.

Site Ground is horrible.

I spoke to live chat several times and they really did not help outside of telling the different steps to take to reach live chat.

Long Story short, I got tired of that...

And the fact that I paid and couldn't set up the website had be ticked off.

I canceled since you have 30 days for a full refund.

After I cancelled SITE GROUND sent me confirmation of the refund it it was $17.99 SHORT.

The breakdown of the refund shows Domain $17.99.

The advertisement says FREE DOMAIN.

I am reporting this to BBB and FTC.
I have to see if FCC deals with this type of issue.

I am now filing dispute with my bank due to FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.

Thorough and responsive technical support

The two tech people I worked with at SiteGround were patient, thorough, and responsive to my request for technical support. My website plug-ins needed several fixes due to recent updates and they did a great job fixing everything.

Top Class, Every Time

Been working with SiteGround for a number of years now. The hosting is reliable, cheap, and fast.

They recently added an additional feature for enhanced support. It's a premium feature but it's worth every penny.

We've had many cowboy developers "fix" things over the years, always ends in isaster. Over the last few months SG have helped us repair many of our issues.

Couldn't be happier.

SiteGround makes me feel they really care about their customers.

I have recently signed up with SiteGround as a domestic user for Email and Web Hosting. Compared with my previous ISP the people from SiteGround are uniformly well trained, understanding and supportive. They also respond quickly. The rates seem fair, and the Help Documentation is clear, well focused on my needs and very accessible. SiteGround makes me feel they really care about their customers.

Having issues with crawler bots using…

Having issues with crawler bots using monthly website CPU quota.

Siteground support identified the offending bots and provided a way to block them from crawling website. They also suggested some other ways that would help to reduce CPU usage to ensure website has sufficient resources to remain online.

Real person got my DNS problem sorted so quickly!

I struggled for hours (it seemed like it) talking to Shopify (who were also great) but I needed to go to Siteground. Thankfully, although the AI was good, I really needed to speak with a human. Denis was patient and led me to do all the DNS stuff needed that I hadn't understood from the instructions. I should now have my shop ready to go, so I'm very grateful that he made gobbledygook make sense and work.
