The North Mountain lookout is a location in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia in 2102.
Background[]
What used to be called 5號火警瞭望塔 used to house two operators who took their Halloween celebrations to the extreme. This involved excessive decoration of the tower, hosting a party and throwing furniture off the balcony. As punishment for repeatedly ignoring warnings about their unsanctioned festivities, they were threatened with termination by their employer, the U.S. National Park Service.
Layout[]
A locked (Picklock varies) explosives crate sits on the ground under the tower. The stairs are littered with assorted junk and containers, including fridges, toolboxes and a set of binoculars.
The room at the top of the lookout is decorated for Halloween, covered in Halloween motifs, jack-o-lanterns and hanging paper bats. Halloween costumes and discarded plastic cups cover the floor, evidence of a long-concluded party. A poster for Freddy Fear's House of Scares hangs on the window, likely the supplier of all the Halloween paraphernalia.
