HN Needler cartridge is a type of ammunition in Fallout 2.

Regular[]
This cartridge appears to be ammo for the HN Needler pistol. Each "bullet" is actually a small metal dart called a flechette.
AP[]
Despite being an "armor-piercing" ammo, this HN breed does not actually change a target's normal DR. It does have twice the damage modifier, though, and so will deal double the damage advertised.
When loaded with the AP ammo, the Needler pistol will actually deal more damage than a Gauss pistol against lightly armored targets.
