I re-added a recently removed quest-note, as I feel that there should be further looking into the matter before something that has stood the test of time is erased. I did so for the following reasons:
- A reputable user at this wiki, a sysop, as a matter of-fact, added this information, and was left undisputed for years.
- There is an official patch that makes kids unable to be killed, in all iterations of the game(s), that could very well have affected this quest in an adverse manner.
- In many countries, the Fallout games were released with kids removed entirely, invalidating quite a bit of content within the game, and outright breaking a few quest-lines.
For these reasons, I believe this information should be further investigated into, before it's outright removed. 寧靜

- I feel that C makes a good point here: It looks more like it's not true than that it is true. I think it should be removed until proven that the option is there. I'd like to verify it myself, but I don't have Fallout 2. Would you agree, Janaschi?

- If it has been cut, it shouldn't be offered as a definitive option. Even if you made reference to it only being available via the restoration mod, it would need to be carefully worded to state it is cut, but can restored via the mod.

- I've tried it myself after getting access with a presidential pass. Couldn't get the kid to accept a gun. Planting one didn't work either. Jspoel
