Hayley Porter was a student at Vault-Tec University before the Great War.
Background[]
While studying at the university, Hayley met Eric and the two worked together in trying to access a secret room on campus which university executives were hiding from the general public. At some point, she broke Eric's heart, causing him to become angry and bitter. She stayed in Morgantown after the war, but was left isolated.[1]

Hayley Porter was going to be the catalyst for Lockdown, a quest cut from Fallout 76. After finding Hayley's corpse on VTU grounds and listening to her holotape, the player would be directed to investigate her terminal inside of the school's training room.[2][3] Her plan to unveil the secret behind a laser grid within the school is left to the player, who would obtain three security access holotapes held by the overseers of Vault 63, Vault 94 and Vault 96. After disabling each of the security safeguard terminals, the laser grid is deactivated and the classified Vault-Tec data archive would become accessible.
