The Brotherhood of Steel have set their sights on Appalachia (who hasn’t these days?) and a man named Russell Dorsey believes they’re en route to ATLAS Observatory. Starting August 4, you can join in a community-wide effort to construct a prospective base for the Brotherhood and help unlock new events and cosmetic rewards for everyone.fallout.bethesda.net

Fortifying ATLAS was a limited-time series of two community events and challenges (split into Projects Alpha and Bravo) for Fallout 76. Project Alpha ran from August 4–18, 2020, while Project Bravo ran from August 27 - September 10, 2020.

Overview[]

With the upcoming return of the Brotherhood of Steel, Russell Dorsey and the Vault Dwellers are working together to build ATLAS Observatory into the perfect base of operations for the group. By supplying materials over the course of two two-week periods, Dorsey and his construction Protectrons can construct the necessary fortifications and ensure the safe arrival of the Brotherhood. For each donation made, one receives a crate of ATLAS donor's provisions.

Notes[]

On August 10, the required amount of concrete for Project Alpha was reduced from 150 million to 15 million due to the unlikelihood of the community reaching the original goal.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Systems designer Jae Espinosa was the product owner of Fortifying ATLAS, and directed its implementation and created design documents for the event.[2]
