S.C.O.R.E.

S.C.O.R.E. is a points system used in the Fallout 76 seasons system to rank up and unlock rewards. It was introduced in The Legendary Run update.

Background[]

The rewards can range from cosmetic skins, C.A.M.P. items, and outfits, to in-game consumables and currencies. It can be earned by completing daily and weekly challenges, and is applied instantly to the S.C.O.R.E. counter, through a UI HUD element similar to Experience Points:^{[verification overdue]}

• A maximum of 2,250 S.C.O.R.E. points can be earned per day through daily challenges.
• 10,000 more available per week through weekly challenges.
• 100 S.C.O.R.E. is granted every 10,000 XP gained, with no limit as to the amount earned as a repeatable weekly challenge. However, starting in season 5, this was disabled upon reaching Rank 100, instead replaced with a Daily Challenge of earning 2,500 XP for an additional 250 S.C.O.R.E. XP to advance beyond Rank 100.

Rank requirements[]

The player starts at Rank 1 and is required to earn 1,000 S.C.O.R.E. in order to progress to Rank 2. From here, the S.C.O.R.E. requirement increases by 25 with each rank, until Rank 99, in which the S.C.O.R.E. required to reach Rank 100 is 3,450. Overall, a player must earn a cumulative amount of 220,275 S.C.O.R.E. to reach Rank 100.

Season pass[]

Since the season pass functionality was introduced with season 16, each reward page on the season pass requires a certain rank to access the rewards on it. Completing SCORE challenges and ranking up rewards tickets, which can be used to purchase the rewards that the player desires on each page.

Scoreboard[]

	The following is based on Fallout 76 removed content.

In the now-defunct scoreboard functionality, Atoms could be used at the start of the season to rank up immediately, but the cost of advancing a rank is a steady 150 Atoms. During season 1 only, advancing via Atoms was only available approximately two weeks after the season started. Starting in season 5, once at Rank 100, the ability to rank up using Atoms was disabled, so only completing Daily and Weekly Challenges could advance a player's rank beyond Rank 100 for additional common rewards.
