The Big MT east tunnel is a location in Big MT in the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.
Background[]
The train tracks were once used to bring supplies and test subjects into the research facility before the Great War, after which they were left vacant for the next 200 years.
Sometime before 2281, during Elijah's escape from Big MT after learning from Ulysses about the Sierra Madre, he hijacked Doctor 0's think tank body and used its network controls to send a train crashing into the east tunnel to cover his escape route.[1]
Layout[]
Situated directly east from the Think Tank on the cardinal east side of Big MT, the location consists of the tunnel blocked by several crashed red train cars. There are several chems in a toolbox on top of the furthest train car, which can be reached by running up the hill on the right of the tunnel entrance and getting on top of the tunnel, then jumping to the train cars one by one. The top of the tunnel also has a greasy toolbox and a duffle bag.
