The detective's coat is an apparel item in the Fallout: The Board Game expansion Fallout: New California.

When performing a test that uses Perception, the detective's coat automatically adds one hit to the roll. Additionally, the player character can exhaust the card at any time in order to view the top two cards in the loot deck, choosing to put them on the top or bottom of the deck in any order.
