OptiFine are a relly good mod
It help me to boost my FPS from 60~90 to 90~120!!

Optifine C3 doesn't seem to be working with Modloader now, whenever I try to turn on connected textures when I have Modloader installed they don't show up...

This is just amazing. Improved fps of my minecraft on my laptop by 30. It was working at 6-9 fps. Thank you. Now I can actually play minecraft without it lagging out every 3 minutes.

Okay so I've just installed:
OptiFine HD C3 Multi-Core for Minecraft 1.2.4 and 1.2.5
on a clean Minecraft install.
When I start single player or join a server initially, the world is not drawn on the screen at all. Then if I resize the window any amount, I get this:

Everything is scrunched to the left side of the screen and in black and white. Also, some blocks are randomly flashing in and out.

Nvidia Go 6150.
Vista 32bit
2GB ram
Install inscturctions followed accurately.
No other mods installed.
Tried disabling "Threaded Optimization". No effect.

Is Optifine supposed to throw an error when installed via Magic Launcher? I've tried on two different computers, on completely clean Minecraft directories, with the same results.

This is a harmless "conflict" between latest Forge and OptiFine.
OptiFine should still work correctly.

I just downloaded and did the right thing, but when I try to get on minecraft I get a black screen. I have modloader with TMI, Single player commands, minimap, craftable mob eggs, obsidian tools, better enchanting, and x-ray.

Thank-you. I wasn't sure how harmless it was, as Minecraft has been randomly locking up. No crash, no "saving chunks" message. Just a total lock-up with no debugging information. All I can do is kill the Java process to stop it. However, I don't think it's Optifine causing it, but something broken in world generation. All is well until I move far enough away to generate new chunks, then BoOM.

My minecraft crashes when I try to enable Advanced OpenGL in optifine.

A display driver upgrade fixed this problem in case anyone else has similar issues.

This is said to be compatible with forge, yet i have magic launcher and when i install this through magic launcher, it says that it has 1 error. I move it to the top before forge and then forge has 23 errors. I thought this was compatible with forge?







So... is it or is magic launcher just wrong?

When toggling better grass in the options, nothing changes. :S

My Minecraft is stuck at "done loading"...

I made a new folder with mine craft.jar in it, (back up)

renamed minecraft.jar into minecraft.zip, and extracted a new folder with minecraft.jar as the new file name.

I replaced the class files.

Help?
