Woah there! I understand and appreciate that you want to bring better translation features to the wiki, but you shouldn't mass copy-paste templates from Wikipedia/other wikis to take on this task, especially with their intricate and complicated code. - The thing about translations on this wiki is that the convention used (ie. Air/es with /es at the end) is only temporary. The idea is that if a translation project gains enough contributions and willing editors, then all these temporary pages will be moved to a whole seperate subdomain and those pages will be linked to using MediaWiki's standard interwiki linking system. It seems like a complicated system but it's the best compromise that could be found so far.
- As for these templates themselves, it seems like they were being copied from another wiki. They contained a lot of messy code and were dependent on other templates with non-standard names and other junk elements like documentation. While it would have been possible to clean these off, in this case it would be better to perhaps plan such a big template system first in your userspace and perhaps with discussion in the community portal. I feel however it's best to keep to the current system of translation. You are free to also join in the discussion regarding this. Hope this has been helpful! --Gnu32 22:35, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Hola, he revertido los cambios que has hecho en la página principal porque no están correctos. Has eliminado plantillas, enlaces y le has quitado coherencia a parte de inventar enlaces que no existen o no correponden.Nuevamente te comento que hay que seguir la regla de name/es y no traducirlo al español. Vamos a ver de nuevo: a lo mejor soy el menos indicado para indicarte pero creo que no lo estás haciendo correctamente: en primer lugar no se pueden inventar enlaces en español como por ejemplo Mapa porque no existe la página y no va a existir, la página debe ser Map/es y cuando llegue el momento del subdominio se traducirá correctamente y se le pondrá el nombre auténtico. En segundo lugar, si pones los enlaces en inglés porque la página en español no existe, estás produciendo el doble o triple de trabajo para los demás, porque cuando se traduzca la página en cuestión se va a tener que rastrear las páginas que la enlazan y modificar una a una (se puede hacer con un bot, pero si se hace bien, pues trabajo que nos ahorramos.) Y en tercer lugar, si no estás seguro al cien por cien que con tu edición vas a mejorar la página, no la edites, hay una zona de discusión para hacer sugerencias y muchas páginas por traducir del todo antes de hacer modificaciones que luego se vayan a revertir. Siempre es bueno que haya gente dedicándose a traducir para tener toda la información y cuantos más seamos mejor, pero por favor, un poco de tranquilidad y no tengas prisa en hacer la traducción, y si tienes alguna duda o algún problema no dejes de consultar, un saludo. If http://minecraftwiki.es wishes to join the Minecraft wiki as a subdomain, to be incorporated as part of the Spanish translation project, please have the owner of the domain contact DDuncan@curse.com.
