map/map-item:What's the difference?[]

Seriously? What?--Yours truly, Ajc_1254 21:30, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

There is none; they both do the exact same thing. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 22:45, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Then why is it there?Yours truly, Ajc_1254 23:23, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
Both were added by Barracuda; you'd have to ask them why they added both. ダイノガイ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 23:33, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm going to put this on his talk page. From Moi,Ajc_1254! 23:39, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Why is there a spotted egg below the glitter melon? There is no description for this item.

Leather chain armor[]

Can some one please add it to the list thing.--007a83 (Talk|Contribs) 14:23, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Can Some one please add it. --007a83 (Talk|Contribs) 22:36, 10 October 2012 (UTC)

Clipping issues?[]

I noticed on the Data Values page that a lot of the item sprites don't seem to be clipping properly. In other words, bits of other items are visible at the edges. (This affects other similar templates too, especially EntitySprite.) Any idea why this might be? --Celtic Minstrel 00:17, 18 December 2012 (UTC)

Maybe it's your cache. Does it look anything like this? -- Hower64 00:28, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
No, nothing that severe. I see the right icons, it's just that it seems to be misaligned by a pixel or so. It seems to be somehow browser-related, since it shows fine in Chrome but not in Firefox. Maybe it's not something that can be fixed wiki-side... --Celtic Minstrel 05:52, 25 December 2012 (UTC)
I sometimes have the same issue but then it's only on when using the ItemLink, EntityLink or BlockLink. It's never with Sprites.

The link templates are just the sprite wrapped in a link. MattTalk

AH! I think I know what the issue is! In the Link templates the sprites are links and in some old versions of web browsers images that were clickable got messed up after you had clicked them. (I don't have this issue since i updated my web browser) ▶ZlingerZZ(t|c|e) 07:38, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

Potion sprites?[]

I think there's enough room.... --Mental Mouse 23:20, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

Armor Stand[]

The armor stand needs to be added as sprite 209. --KnightMiner (t|c) 00:36, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Done, Module:ItemSprite/IDs isn't actually admin-protected. -- Orthotopetalk 01:45, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
It is for me, cascaded from the main page. --KnightMiner (t|c) 02:57, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Wooden Doors[]

The wooden door sprites need to be added as follows:

	['acacia-door'] = 210,
	['birch-door'] = 211,
	['dark-oak-door'] = 212,
	['jungle-door'] = 213,
	['spruce-door'] = 214,

--KnightMiner (t|c) 16:18, 2 September 2014 (UTC)

Add sprites[]

Please add the sprite "spectral-arrow" as 215, "chorus-fruit" as 219, and "popped-chorus-fruit" as 220 KnightMiner t/c 20:12, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Done. -- Orthotopetalk 20:23, 1 August 2015 (UTC)

Please remove the names for the unneeded and now removed sprites 154, 170, and 240 (they are all used internally by the game, but we don't need them here), and add sprite 204 as "tipped-arrow" KnightMiner t/c 21:51, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

Now 154 needs to be added as "lingering-potion" and 170 needs to be "dragon's-breath". My last request also still has not been answered. KnightMiner t/c 14:53, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Done, sorry about the delay. -- Orthotopetalk 17:36, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Thanks! I just added another sprite, which is #221 as "shield", so please add that one as well. KnightMiner t/c 15:48, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

Missing Hopper and Leather Horse Armor Icons[]

The hopper item icon is missing from the sprite sheet which makes it show up as a missing icon in the Pocket_Edition_data_values#Item_IDs page. Also missing is the new leather horse armor icon added in the Pocket Edition 0.15.0 beta's.

Here is the leather horse armor icon since it's a bit more difficult to find: Leather horse armor

Finding the default leather horse armor icon was a bit tricky, but if anyone wants to read the process, you can read the text below.

The leather horse armor icon is in the game's assets, but since the armor can be dyed, the color for the decorations is defined in the game code. The color for horse armor is defined in the HorseArmorItem::getColor function; more specifically, the default color is defined in this section of code: https://web.archive.org/web/20190711173622/http://i.imgur.com/AjK7xmF.png

What that code does is define 4 32-bit floats with R0 storing the red, R1 storing the green, R2 storing the blue, and R3 storing the alpha. Converting those values to a floating point value gives an RGBA color of (0.627451, 0.396078, 0.250980, 1.0), or (160, 101, 64, 255) when converted to 8-bit integers. The overlay color is applied using shaders by mixing overlay color with the icon color with the alpha channel controlling the mixing, so the true default leather horse armor icon should look like this: Leather horse armor

New potion and arrow sprites[]

Could we add itemsprites for uncraftable potions/arrows (PC) and potions/arrows of decay (PE)? I don't have permission. The {{InvSprite}} template has these images. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 16:06, 21 September 2016 (UTC) Arrow would use the arrow of decay sprite, Status effect would use arrow and potion of decay sprites, and Inventory would use the uncraftable potion sprite. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 01:46, 22 September 2016 (UTC)

New totem and shulker shell sprites[]

Education Edition Sprites[]

Could someone add the following item sprites from Education Edition?

Jocopa3 (talk) 10:25, 19 November 2016 (UTC)

Added sprite icons to the spritesheet (except camera since it's on the entity sheet), all that's needed is for the three chalkboards and portfolio book to be added to the decorations and utilities section. Jocopa3 (talk) 11:55, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Spawn Eggs[]

The 1.1 sprite is an ocelot spawn egg which makes no sense considering the ocelot spawn egg was added in 1.2 It is also repetitive considering the ocelot mob icon is the sprite for 1.2 right below it in the versions history menu. Can we add a few more spawn eggs? I think we can considering we have every variation of boat... –Preceding unsigned comment was added by Bantry (talkcontribs) at 0:21, 21 November 2016 (UTC). • pillager-spawn-egg
  • cat-spawn-egg

Target — Missing sprite[]

There's an sprite that is missing. It's the target block. Can someone add it? Purpur4 (talk) 19:50, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

I also noticed that banners needs to be added, but is this intentional? Purpur4 (talk) 19:55, 17 May 2020 (UTC)

Those are blocks, not items, use BlockSprite for those. FVbico (talk) 20:20, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
