Transparent[]
Can anyone verify whether Nether Wart Block is, in fact, actually "transparent" (designated that way in the code; clearly its texture is not transparent)? It has many of the properties of a "transparent" block so far (Opacity#Effects) so it makes me wonder. – Sealbudsman talk/contr 14:22, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
- The block has the "plants" material and doesn't override any of the default block behaviors, which includes the status as being a "full cube". Which leads to some weird results, since despite the material claiming it doesn't block movement or light the "full cube" status makes it do so. It looks like it might also be the case that mob pathfinding will think it can go through nether wart blocks. Anomie x (talk) 15:05, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

- I think I see it in Pic's. of the "New Nether Update," "Planned" for this year, 2020. It may be like a "Bush /Shrub" / "Leaves," there even? (since as-part of - "New, including Grass" - "Ground") so maybe it's a-variant of "(Updated) Nether Vegetation" ?? - Yilante 1 /29 /20 3:52 p.m. 76.209.248.192 23:52, 29 January 2020 (UTC)

- I would greatly Oppose that decision, the warped wart block is literally just a variant of the nether wart block, so there is little difference between them. James Haydon (talk) 22:01, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
