Do they sound the same as Raid celebration horns?[]

When I look at the sound lists in the sounds category, I notice the sounds are the exact same as the horn sound produced in raids. Is this true, or just a placeholder (I don't have Bedrock Edition) Blockofnetherite Talk Contributions 23:55, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

It is true – Unavailablehoax (talk) 23:58, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Goat Horns Not in Bedrock Edition[]

Okay, I have noticed that even with the /give command goat horns are not available so where are they? --😁Brenty333 (contribs) (talk) 18:25, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Read the page, they are in development for 1.17.10. MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 19:56, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Determine which type of goat drops a goat horn[]

Please add in the wiki of which type of goat drops a sound variant of the goat horn in wiki, thank you!

Goat Horn "call" is a reference to the THX intro sound effect[]

This should probably be added to Trivia, as well as "Seek" being the raid sound. Lord Vertice (talk) 21:08, 7 June 2022 (UTC)

Not unless you have a source verifying it. Otherwise it's just speculation. Amatulic (talk) 04:51, 8 June 2022 (UTC)

goat horn playsound command dose not work with the data values given for them on bedrock[]

The comment added about goat horn types should have stayed, I think[]

A comment was added stating that a goat will always drop the same type of horn for both horns. It was undone, but I believe this to be correct after watching SB737 and then looking at the code. It uses a hash of the entity's UUID as the random seed, so it should always produce the same horn type, though different entities will obviously have potentially different ones. - AD OffKilter (talk) 22:54, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

I agree. I have reverted the removal, and reworded it to present tense. Amatulic (talk) 20:42, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

Different goat horns obtained when the goat rams into different blocks.[]

Hello Wikiwriters, When trying to build a goat horn farm, I used only stone as a block to let the goats ram into. This however only seemed to yield the ponder horn, confused I asked a friend, and he had heard (from a source he can't remember), that different horns dropped when the goat rammed into different blocks, and since I only used stone only one horn dropped. This rumour is supported with my experience though. I added more blocks (iron and copper ore, packed ice etc) and got different horns. I can't figure out who the source of the rumour is. But I think this is valuable info for the wiki.

sincerely - Joa (ps. I am new to writing on the wiki and there may be some errors with this post, sorry) Joachim Bose (talk) 15:25, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

I don't know about Bedrock, but on Java the type of block is irrelevant. The horn type is based solely on the goat itself. In a recent SB737 video, he was getting all different goat horns and using stone all the time. - AD OffKilter (talk) 15:31, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
