Your edit in Mob[]

I noticed that you edited the article for Mob to replace "Education Edition" with "Education Midd". Was this intentional? Fluffy8x (talk) 14:05, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

Oh no, I just wanted to say they existed in BE with the education feature template, it must be one if the weird new mobile edit glitches, sorry... It wasn't on the preview... MetalManiac at your service fellow human! (talk) 14:10, 21 February 2021 (UTC)

I know I know, I always forget. Sometimes I remember afterwards but... I just don't seem to want to remember it on mobile. [PRO] MetalManiac at your service fellow human! (talk) 16:36, 2 April 2021 (UTC)

java-experimental-version[]

What is that? I know what java-experimental-snapshot is but how can an experimental version exist? Humiebeetalk contribs 15:32, 14 July 2021 (UTC)

Actually I'de just put a placeholder name and the pages got synced quicker than I thought... It should have been something like java-experimental-upcoming... -- MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 15:37, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
I think that is just java-upcoming (pre-releases and release candidates also have that so i am going to remove java-experimental-version. Humiebeetalk contribs 16:56, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
It was just in case we get like 1.17.3 pre-releases… MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 17:05, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
This happened with 1.17 and 1.16.5, upcoming stayed at 1.17. 1.16.5 was mainly a bug fixing update that fixed bugs which were already fixed in 1.17. Humiebeetalk contribs 17:08, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
I still think something for experimental snapshots should be made. --MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 19:04, 15 July 2021 (UTC)

Target block edit reversion[]

So you're telling me that a block that is literally a target to shoot projectiles at (i.e, arrows) isn't a target to be used for aiming practice? Suuuuure. ExodusBF4 (talk) 01:57, 3 August 2021 (UTC)

Lusten I am reverting because :
  1. Its terribly written
  2. You can shoot projectiles at any block, the difference with the taget is that... It emits a redstone signal

Reversions in Bedrock Edition version history[]

I don't understand where we're miscommunicating. Did you look at the link I provided in the edit summary? Clearly, it is a single version being sold that supports both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, and its name is "Minecraft for Xbox", not "Minecraft for Xbox One", so I don't understand how you can maintain that Series X/S isn't natively supported. --— Auldrick (talk · contribs) 18:44, 15 August 2021 (UTC)

There are two problems with your reasoning :
  1. There is no native Xbox Series version, Xbox Series play the Xbox One version via backwards compatibility, like PS5s. Fun fact: there is no Minecraft RTX on Xbox Series Xs because of that lack of native versions.
  2. The Xbox is another console, you cant just put Xbox alone.
--MetalManiacMc at your service fellow human! (talk) 18:54, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
By #2, every model of Android phone would need its own native version. Every OEM of Windows PCs would need its own version. That's just ridiculous. "Xbox" is a UI/UX design philosophy, not just a specific hardware implementation. Before Series X/S, it was a distinction without a difference, but now there is a difference and MS' branding is unequivocally targeting the design, not the device. That's precisely why they renamed the product to erase the "One".
So what if there's no version written specifically for Xbox Series X/S? Do you have to put the Series X in some kind of compatibility mode to be able to run Minecraft for Xbox? If not, it's no different from Windows 11 running apps designed for Windows 10.
Is this about RTX somehow? It surprises me that somebody who identifies as an anti-Java-elitist (hurrah!) wants to elevate RTX to such godlike status. Most Bedrock players can't run in RTX mode and won't be able to for years, if ever. (I halfway believe that RTX has about as much chance of achieving significant market penetration as AR and VR have. Its main selling point isn't so much visual improvements as bragging rights.)
Anyway, I'm done arguing about this. Let's see which of us the wiki's other editors agree with. --— Auldrick (talk · contribs) 19:45, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
