Gennifer Hutchison (born 1977), or Genni ("Jenny") for short, is an American screenwriter, producer, and producer's assistant formerly involved with hit-TV shows The X-FilesGrey's Anatomy, and Mad Men, before being executive story-editor for the last three seasons of AMC's Breaking Bad, for which she won two Writers Guild of America awards. She was then a writer for episodes across many seasons of Better Call Saul.

In 2019, Hutchison was chosen by Amazon Studios to write for their high-budget series The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, along with Bryan Cogman, Jason Cahill, Glenise Mullins, Justin Dohle, and others. The show is headed by screenwriters Patrick McKay and John D. Payne, and its producers include J. A. Bayona, Eugene Kelly, and Lindsey Weber.[1]

She resides in Los Angeles, California.
