File names[]

I saw your message on Mara's wall so I thought I'd drop by and explain as I was mid way through fixing the image when it got pulled off the article.

The file name for your image wasn't descriptive, it was just a string of numbers. I renamed it to File:FO4 Covenant stingray.jpg which shows the game, location and what it is of. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 03:31, July 16, 2017 (UTC)

Ok thanks Sakarette! I see what you mean now. --Zackmaster1 (talk) 03:41, July 16, 2017 (UTC)
I would suggest you check our user conduct guideline. What you are doing by keep changing the article back to your version is is what we consider edit warring, which is against our policy. The first picture you put up was slightly larger and the difference in quality is negligible. I'd prefer we keep that one. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 03:42, July 16, 2017 (UTC)
Oh sorry I didn't mean to do that. What I was trying to do was change the name, then change the size, then making it so it wouldn't show my location and all that. That was why I kept deleting and reposting the image. I'm sorry if I broke any rules, I was just trying to figure it out. --Zackmaster1 (talk) 03:50, July 16, 2017 (UTC)
I see what you mean, I've flipped it to your new one and deleted the original so the location information can't be seen. Sakaratte - Talk to the catmin 10:12, July 16, 2017 (UTC)

File names used in mainspace pages must be descriptive. In other words, a user should be able to tell what page the image is related to based on the file name. Files with names such as (IMG)_0719171.jpg or 124437egdd36464u3.png aren't acceptable for use on pages. Great Mara (talk) 17:59, July 20, 2017 (UTC)

Ok thanks Great Mara. --Zackmaster1 (talk) 18:03, July 20, 2017 (UTC)

Synth aging[]

In this revision you added that synths do not age. It was then promptly removed because a similar statement had been removed just over a week ago because no source could be found for the claim.
Do you happen to have a source for the claim that synths do not age?

Oh, I see, I'm sorry. I thought it was accidentally removed, as the editor was just an IP address. I thought that maybe someone just went on and took out a random fact. Sorry about that. --Zackmaster1 (talk) 01:28, December 16, 2017 (UTC)
No problemo. Better safe than sorry.

Mirelurk Egg[]

Wanted to tell you that you did the right thing with that edit, I just used auto-correct without looking at the word. Patrollers/Admins aren't always right when they do stuff, we're only human like everyone else, we make mistakes too. It's good to correct or question something that you find you need to. That's alright. I just went in to change a few words, and then I saw that one. Afterwards, I was checking the edit history on the article and saw that you had added the space, so I went back and reverted it. I just wasn't sure if you meant to add it or not, so I changed it back. Thanks for leaving me a note to confirm that. --Zackmaster1 (talk) 17:02, January 29, 2018 (UTC)
