AS Emote Yes1

For assistance, please feel free to reach out to our admins or join the Nukapedia Discord server. We look forward to working with you!

Permission[]

You are officially granted permission to create pages and not have to ask permission about creating pages in the future :D

I consider wikis to be a truly collective project! If you feel a page is needed, create away, no need to ask permission! 【Tagaziel】 08:15, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

Pip-Boy games[]

Another admin already deleted it, so no worries. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 19:33, 14 November 2022 (UTC)

Categories world maps[]

How did you manage to add those categories to the maps? I can't figure it out. Jspoel Speech Jspoel 16:49, 21 November 2022 (UTC)

Re: Vault Boy[]

I reverted it because it looked like vandalism. Words were combined, misspelled, and random characters inserted. For example: You changed "RobCo joint-venture" to "RobCojoint venturee" | "also" was changed to "alsis o" | "Fallout" changed to "Fallou,t" | "looks" changed to "looly"

I thought I might have been seeing things or something was wrong with my browser because it had been up for two days, so I double checked the diff on a different PC and browser before reverting it. MeanJim (talk) 09:42, 27 November 2022 (UTC)

Drawing a line[]

Thanks for your vote. In order to address Leon's concern, would you be able to continue to support it if instead of the current proposed wording, it read:

  • In the event that an incident which occured prior to December 4, 2022 is deemed to be so severe that it must be addressed, two-thirds of users may vote to make an exception and open an investigation into a specific event that would otherwise have qualified for immunity. The process for this vote is as follows:
  1. All current rights holders, excluding interwiki, shall be notified on their respective talk pages, at minimum, that such a vote is to occur, and where the discussion will take place (Discord, a wiki forum, etc). If any rights holders are unable to access the platform or choice, accommodations are to be made to include them. Announcements on the issue should also be made
  2. The discussion shall start no sooner than the last rights holder has been notified, and shall run for a minimum of seven days. At the conclusion of the discussion, a vote will be taken. The proposal to open the investigation can only occur with the consent of two-thirds of the users who have chosen to participate in the discussion.
  3. If the vote passes, an investigation may commence following the current relevant policies. If the vote fails, the immunity for the specific offence remains intact and shall not be challenged in the future.

Alternatively would you continue to support the proposal if requirements for patroller were changed to read:

  • No minimum edit count; can be added if there is a consistent record of good consostent editing conduct over one month (this does not mean every day). Adding patroller can be done by any admin, content moderator or technical moderator, can be proactively offered, and should only be refused or removed where there is either recent rule infractions, or recent edits suggest the user does not understand or is intentionally not following guidelines.

(The effect of this is to make it easier to get into the group that is able to participate, effectively opening the "fortress")

If you can let me know if you could support, one or both of these, and if both, which is your preference. If we've got a clear consensus on that, I'll update the vote, I'll pause it for 48 hours to allow for responses. Agent c (talk) 21:20, 5 December 2022 (UTC)

Word of the day[]

Sounds like an interesting idea, though perhaps a narrower focus specifically on the Fallout series might be in order? Unless you already mean that. I feel it's an interesting project, especially the evolution of eg. the term tribal. 【Tagaziel】 12:36, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

Badges[]

The badges are just userboxes that anyone can add to their profile, that say something about who you are or what you've done. The Luck one is for anyone who has earned the '10 points of Luck' achievement that is given for every 1000th edit on the wiki. If you want to know which userboxes exist, check Category:Userbox templates. The Appalachian Mandalorian insignia 17:47, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

Heheheh, I lied[]

There aren’t actually any ammo depots underneath Tenpines Bluff, but there’s a liquor depot filled with whatever good spirits we’ve found on our travels. It’s next to an APC with a skeletal soldier on top of it. We’re gonna bury him, don’t worry. Take what you want, but not all of it!
