Thanks for your astute point. As I've been going through the FNV Locations page, cleaning up the entries, I've been marking them in the "Appearances" section as either "in-game" or "fictional" because the Fallout series is a work of fiction. I'm quite certain that the Gobi Desert in our world never saw a military conflict between America and China, hence why I tried to differentiate it as being a fictional representation but based on a real-world place. - SkyrimsLord13 (talk) 14:31, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

Hey there, I marked the legacy section for cleanup on Unity and removed the mention of cooperation between settlements, as nothing of the sort actually occurred. Which brings me to the point about references: We really, really need references to ground the content in what happened, rather than what we think happened (I'm guilty of that in my past life, way too much). If you need help locating them, I've compiled the complete texts for Fallout and Fallout 2, which should make locating what you want to find all the easier. For Fo3/FNV/Fo4, I can recommend xTranslator, which allows for opening any ESM and browsing through the strings and searching them both by content and EDID. Hope this helps!
