Synth[]

There was just an edit changing his race to synth, stating the synth component as argument. I just killed him (vanilla game PC), on death he had no such thing (just his documented gear, 10mm Auto Pistol, some 10mm round and Psycho). --Alfwyn (talk) 21:01, December 7, 2015 (UTC)

Ok, Talk:Railroad HQ shows that this comes from a youtube video. That seems to be actually at a point doing a quest to destroy the Railroad there? I just walked up to kim and killed him. There is the possibility that a sytnth component is added under some condition (the Institute replacing him in game world terms). But some video on the net just doesn't convince me. If we have people personally experiencing this, further details would be helpful. --Alfwyn (talk) 21:13, December 7, 2015 (UTC)

Digging in the game data I currently see no way he arrives at a synth component, he has it neither as death item nor in his inventory, all references to the item outside of scripts don't end up at him. However his class is "Courser" there. Of course this is invisible game data, so it is not clear that this should have lore relevance, but it is a hint in the direction of synth. --Alfwyn (talk) 02:20, December 8, 2015 (UTC)

Railway rifle experiment[]

I have yet to see this cause a fatality, just knocks down the person firing it temporarily. Can this be verified in the game files? Great Mara (talk) 21:01, January 31, 2016 (UTC)

Maybe? The explosion RRRailwayTestingExplosion (0022122f) does 30 damage. I never experienced that myself, is the victim perhaps levelled? There is an alias GenericTerry used in that "quest", is that name visible in-game? --Alfwyn (talk) 23:33, January 31, 2016 (UTC)

Special Agent tuxedo[]

Seems that Tinker Tom sells a legendary type of armor "Special Agent Tuxedo". Does anyone know at what circumstances (level, quest completed) he is selling it? Jspoel 18:17, April 2, 2018 (UTC)
