Suggs is a merchant found in a small garage between Kendall Hospital and Cambridge crater in 2287. He was added into Fallout 4 in April 2024 as part of the next-gen update.

Background[]

Suggs sells weapons included in the 'Makeshift Weapons Pack', including the Nail Gun, Sawblade Launcher, makeshift pipe grenade launcher, and the Chinese Grenade Launcher, alongside corresponding ammunition. He does not sell the Piggy Bank Launcher, though he sells ammunition for it.

Suggs worked with his business partner salvaging an old American military base where he found records of captured Chinese Grenade Launchers, and used the schematics to replicate a makeshift version made from pipes, as well as more authentic replications. He also took a contract from Moe of Diamond City Swatters to make baseball launcher guns for 'designated hurlers'. He operated in the middle of the Boston ruins paying the neighboring Raiders for protection money and selling them wares, even taking jobs for them such as the construction of Sawblade Launchers.

He frequently dismissed the plans of his partner Marvin as unrealistic, and despite valuing him highly Marvin felt incredibly slighted and left with the plan to assassinate his former partner using a modified Fat Man to launch explosive piggy banks from a roof overlooking Suggs' shop.
