Tool bonus[]
A tool or a super tool kit may give the Chosen One a bonus in Repair skill rolls. They can give anywhere from a 0%[5] to a 50%[16] Repair bonus to the skill roll, depending on how that specific Repair skill roll was implemented in the code. Though the tool is implemented in many Repair skill rolls, the super tool kit is only implemented in three Repair skill rolls in the entire game.[14][15][20] Though rarely implemented correctly, the tool was intended to provide a 20% Repair bonus and the super tool was intended to provide a 40% Repair bonus.
Ways to increase[]
- Dean's Electronics: permanent increase up to 91%
- Tool: +20% when used
- Super tool kit: +40% when used
